it looks way better than demo. i hate the 1-bit slimes its hard to see and confused me. tutorial is short, easy to learnbut you need to master mechanics by falling over and over.
This game has a lot of potential. The mechanics of the game are smooth which makes the gameplay fun, but it can get frustrating when you sometimes fall all the way down from a hard part you just completed. I get that it is supposed to be hard, but since there isn't a certain guide or tutorial in the game (except the begining) that allows you to master the techniques to pass certain harder levels repeating the same levels over and over can get boring. Nonetheless, I would recommend others to at least give this game a try for I think they won't be disappointed with the idea behind it. Especially the things you can do in multiplayer are exciting.
Arkadaşlarla oynanır tek başına da oynanır. Steam'in çalıştığı her bilgisayarda oyunu açacak sistem gereksinimleri var. Hafif zorlayıcı ama ileride keyifli oluyor.
Stick It!, developed by Jovial Studios and published by indie.io, is an inventive physics-based platformer that reimagines movement and precision through the use of rotational momentum rather than simple jumping. On the surface, it appears to be a straightforward platforming game about guiding a stick figure across hazardous environments, but underneath that simplicity lies a surprisingly intricate system built on rhythm, timing, and finesse. Released on Steam in 2024, the game quickly gained attention for its fluid mechanics, minimalist presentation, and engaging multiplayer races that transform its physics-driven challenges into chaotic displays of skill and creativity. Rather than focusing on storytelling or visual spectacle, Stick It! dedicates itself entirely to the joy of motion—of mastering a unique form of movement that rewards both patience and daring. The core of the experience revolves around angular momentum. Instead of running and jumping as in traditional platformers, players control the spin of their stick figure, building energy and launching themselves across gaps or onto platforms. The act of moving becomes a dance of timing and control—each rotation and release determines how far or high you’ll go. It’s a deceptively simple mechanic that grows increasingly complex as you begin to understand how momentum, trajectory, and surface angles interact. The early levels serve as a gentle introduction, giving players room to experiment with the physics and learn how to land properly, while later stages introduce moving platforms, elastic surfaces, and slippery terrain that demand precise coordination. Every successful launch feels earned, and every misstep feels like a lesson in the game’s tight physical logic. There’s a constant push and pull between restraint and momentum that creates a rhythm unique to Stick It!, one that makes each level feel like a puzzle of motion rather than a simple obstacle course. What makes the game especially enjoyable is how intuitively its mechanics translate into flow. Once you get used to its physics, moving through a stage can feel incredibly satisfying. The stick figure’s animation, though minimalistic, communicates kinetic energy perfectly—you can sense the weight of each spin and the tension before every release. When you launch just right and hit a landing cleanly, there’s an immediate rush of accomplishment that rivals the best moments in the genre. Jovial Studios clearly focused on tactile satisfaction: the game’s design encourages mastery through repetition without punishing the player too harshly. This balance between challenge and accessibility ensures that Stick It! remains engaging even when you’re struggling with a tough segment. The difficulty curve is well-paced, letting new players ease into the mechanics while still offering enough depth for experienced ones to chase perfection. Visually, Stick It! embraces a minimalist aesthetic that complements its mechanical precision. The environments are composed of clean lines, flat colors, and high contrast, making it easy to track your movement without distraction. The simplicity of the art style allows the game’s physics to take center stage, and it contributes to a crisp, modern look that feels both functional and stylish. Backgrounds shift subtly to match the tone of each area, while the stick figure’s bold outline makes it easy to follow even during chaotic multiplayer races. The soundtrack matches this design philosophy—energetic yet unobtrusive, keeping you immersed in the rhythm of movement without overwhelming the senses. Everything about the presentation serves the gameplay, creating an experience that feels cohesive and deliberate from start to finish. The inclusion of both local and online multiplayer modes adds another layer of fun and replayability. Competing against others transforms the careful precision of solo play into high-speed chaos as players collide, race, and improvise through identical obstacle courses. The tension of watching someone else pull off a perfect launch while you overshoot a landing creates a lively and unpredictable energy. These races highlight the game’s skill ceiling; players who truly master momentum can perform spectacular maneuvers that look effortless but require fine control. It’s a reminder that, despite its simple premise, Stick It! has surprising depth when it comes to mastering its movement system. The multiplayer aspect also brings a sense of community and fun that elevates the experience beyond the confines of a typical single-player platformer. Still, Stick It! is not without limitations. Its physics-based design, while refreshing, can also be frustrating for players who prefer precision through consistency rather than momentum-based experimentation. The learning curve can feel steep at first, as success depends on internalizing the physics rather than relying on predictable inputs. Some may find the repetition of swing-and-launch mechanics monotonous after extended sessions, especially if they’re not drawn to the pursuit of perfect execution. The game’s minimalist style, while visually effective, also means it lacks the visual variety or environmental storytelling found in more expansive platformers. Yet these criticisms feel minor when viewed in context—Stick It! knows exactly what it wants to be, and it never overreaches its design philosophy. For those who appreciate games that emphasize movement, timing, and control, Stick It! is an exhilarating experience. It’s the kind of title that rewards persistence and skill, where improvement comes not through upgrades or unlocks but through understanding the subtle interplay of momentum and gravity. Each level becomes a canvas for experimentation, and every successful run feels like a personal triumph. The combination of tight physics, fast-paced multiplayer, and minimalistic style makes it a standout among indie platformers that aim for mechanical purity over narrative complexity. Jovial Studios has crafted a game that’s easy to learn, difficult to master, and endlessly satisfying once it clicks. In the end, Stick It! stands as a testament to how much can be achieved through simplicity and focus. It transforms a basic concept—a stick figure and a few platforms—into a deeply engaging experience that captures the essence of movement-driven gameplay. There are no flashy cinematics or elaborate worlds, just a pure, physics-based playground where mastery feels meaningful and every launch carries risk and reward. It’s both challenging and inviting, lighthearted yet demanding, and entirely confident in what it sets out to do. For players who find joy in fluid motion, competition, and the art of perfect timing, Stick It! offers a rare kind of satisfaction—one that sticks with you long after you’ve finished the last level.
very cool music, satisfying sound effects and interesting artstyle mixed with a gameplay mechanic that demands you to git gud. not my type of game normally, but i could see myself having fun playing with my friends and race to the top. would definitely recommend if you're into challenging games!
Zamanın nasıl geçtiğini anlayamadım. Gerçekten harika bir oyun. Kesinlikle bir bakın derim.
