An Idle Space MMORPG where you progress at your own pace, but the universe is built together. Explore a procedural galaxy of nearly 50 million star systems alone — or join a Squadron to pool resources, raise space stations, upgrade shared buildings, and expand across the stars as one.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.

The best idle game I've played. There is so much going on to keep you and your gathering occupied it's great.
Great Game.
I came across Stellar Odyssey on Steam while looking for something different to play, and I'm glad I gave it a try. It’s a really enjoyable idle game with a space-themed setting that makes it stand out from the usual idle games. The progression feels satisfying, and there’s always something to work toward. I particularly like being able to make progress over time without needing to constantly be sitting at the computer. It has that nice balance where you can check in, make decisions, upgrade your progress, and then let the game continue doing its thing. One thing I found interesting is that Stellar Odyssey seems to be a relatively unknown game. I couldn't find much information about it online outside of Steam, which is a shame because I think it deserves more attention. If you're a fan of idle games, incremental progression, or space-themed games, I'd definitely recommend giving Stellar Odyssey a chance. It's been a pleasant find, and I'm looking forward to seeing how the game develops.

Game is good ,community and the dev are great .Its fun to play i recommend it
Idle game with many features, Trading and an economy. You can play as a free account and basically buy the premium currency for in game credits and simply earn premium to get what you want that way. I enjoy that aspect of it personally. Progress is progress, it's an idler. Some would say "slow" actions but that's the purpose and what holds the economic value with the in game marketplace. You're building up the capability to warp to other planets that could have better materials for you to farm (mid-end game). You're also building up your account with every single action. There are squads, pvp, world bosses and soon base building. The mentality behind space is what brought me in. I'm enjoying the gameplay loops thus far. That all being said no game is perfect. Install it and click around, read the starter guide and poke at the Wiki. Engage in the market, be a space troll, work your way toward pvp, whatever u want to do. o7
Too many other idle games that hold my interest. This one simply did nothing to grab me from the start and the few text blips you get as a tutorial did nothing. From the lack of a tutorial to no guidance, waiting a minute per tick etc. I didn't want to wait a minute to see what happens next. Game seems like it has potential, I'll check back later. Right now I can't recommend.
Stellar Odyssey is a free-to-play idle space MMORPG that combines persistent online progression with exploration, crafting, resource management, and large-scale community development. Developed and published by Stellar Games, it builds its experience around an enormous procedurally generated galaxy containing nearly 50 million star systems. Most of this universe begins unexplored, giving players the opportunity to discover systems and gradually contribute to a shared galactic map. This approach gives exploration a stronger sense of purpose because discovering new territory is tied to the continuing development of the online world rather than being a purely individual activity. The game is structured around a mixture of active management and automated progression. Combat, gathering, and certain exploration activities can continue without constant player attention, including while offline. Voyager expeditions allow ships to explore automatically, while players who prefer direct involvement can manually explore to maintain greater control over their progress. This makes Stellar Odyssey particularly accommodating to people who enjoy persistent progression but cannot remain actively engaged for long sessions. The tradeoff is that players looking for hands-on spacecraft controls or action-heavy battles may find the experience comparatively passive. Combat is primarily automated, placing more emphasis on preparation and character development than reflexes. Enemy weaknesses encourage players to think about equipment and builds before entering encounters, while solo dungeons provide opportunities to test personal progression. Competitive players can participate in a dedicated PvP Battlefield featuring its own equipment and skills. Cooperative play appears through weekly Squadron Dungeons, giving organized groups additional objectives. The combat itself may therefore lack the immediate excitement of an action-oriented space game, but the surrounding progression systems give players plenty to consider between encounters. Resource gathering is another major part of the progression loop. Planets, asteroids, nebulae, and comets can provide materials, and gathering can operate as an idle activity. Those resources feed into crafting and equipment development, creating a straightforward relationship between exploration, collection, production, and combat advancement. Crafting incorporates blueprints, laboratory queues, and equipment customization rather than functioning merely as a basic item-production feature. The Catalyst system further expands character building by allowing equipment statistics to be modified, providing additional flexibility for players interested in optimizing specialized setups. Technology development adds another strategic layer. Quantum Cores can be invested into areas such as combat, exploration, gathering, and crafting, allowing players to shape progression around their preferred activities. Personal bases also contribute bonuses through different modules, while pets can perform booster, convenience, or generator functions. Pets gain experience alongside players during activities such as fighting, gathering, and exploration, helping them feel connected to regular progression rather than existing solely as cosmetic companions. With technology research, equipment modification, pets, bases, crafting, and exploration all operating simultaneously, Stellar Odyssey provides considerably more depth than its idle-game foundation initially suggests. The Squadron system is especially important to the MMORPG side of the experience. Squadrons function as organized player communities capable of developing infrastructure, constructing space stations, claiming systems, improving shared buildings, exchanging equipment through an Armory, and participating in cooperative or competitive activities. Members can contribute taxes toward their organization's development, meaning individual progression can directly support a larger collective goal. Territorial ownership is particularly suitable for a game built around millions of star systems because it gives portions of the procedural galaxy social and strategic significance. A player-driven marketplace supports the economic side of the universe. Players can trade equipment and other valuable items while examining price history, encouraging economic participation beyond simple buying and selling from NPC vendors. Premium currency can also circulate through the marketplace. Stellar Games presents the free-to-play model around the principle that gameplay systems, skills, and dungeons remain accessible without mandatory payment. An optional subscription provides convenience and progression-related benefits, while premium currency can be used for cosmetics and quality-of-life features. The ability to acquire premium currency through the player economy potentially makes the system friendlier to dedicated free players, although its long-term fairness will depend heavily on economic balance. The Steam version launched with a fresh realm, which is a sensible choice for this type of persistent progression game. Starting with an unexplored map and without deeply established territorial powers gives newcomers an opportunity to participate in the early development of the galaxy. Discovering systems, creating infrastructure, and establishing Squadrons should feel considerably more meaningful when the universe has not already been completely mapped and dominated by veteran organizations. Maintaining that feeling as the community matures will be one of the game's longer-term challenges. From a technical standpoint, Stellar Odyssey is designed to be relatively accessible. Its modest system and storage requirements make it suitable for computers that would struggle with more visually demanding space games. The presentation consequently appears secondary to the underlying progression mechanics. Stellar Games also discloses the use of AI-assisted tools for some visual assets, with generated material being reviewed and modified to fit the intended artistic direction. Ultimately, the visual presentation serves a game whose primary attraction comes from interconnected systems, persistent advancement, and the enormous scale of its universe. Stellar Odyssey has a strong conceptual foundation, but its longevity will depend on execution. A persistent MMORPG needs an active community, healthy marketplace, balanced progression, worthwhile group activities, and consistent developer support. Its abundance of interconnected mechanics could become a strength for players who enjoy optimization, but the same complexity may overwhelm newcomers. Likewise, extensive automation is convenient for idle-game enthusiasts but may disappoint players expecting direct control over every battle or expedition. Taken as a whole, Stellar Odyssey offers an intriguing interpretation of the idle MMORPG formula. Exploration, gathering, crafting, technology research, Catalysts, pets, personal bases, Squadrons, territorial development, dungeons, PvP, and a player economy all contribute to a progression structure with considerable potential. Its greatest strength is the idea that passive advancement still contributes toward an evolving multiplayer galaxy. It will appeal most strongly to players who enjoy long-term planning and incremental growth rather than constant action. While the automated nature of several systems and the uncertainties surrounding long-term balancing prevent it from reaching its full potential immediately, its ambitious shared-universe design gives it a distinctive identity.
