An Idle Space MMORPG where you progress at your own pace, but the universe is built together. Explore a procedural galaxy of nearly 50 million star systems alone — or join a Squadron to pool resources, raise space stations, upgrade shared buildings, and expand across the stars as one.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.

Looks pay 2 win, not my jam. Also looks like any other AI-assisted made idler. Besides, some prices are just insane ... 10/25 bucks for AI generated skins? 50 bucks for a perm access to the market? All of these are screaming "CASH GRAB" to me.

Hard to call a game P2W when your prices are insane. No one want's to pay $10 a month for your vibe coded slop, let alone $25 per ship skin (which there are over 30!). HARD PASS
the Pay2Win allegations are total crap. Its more of a subscription that unlocks some minor features that make things easier for you. you can earn in game currency to buy premium currency quite easily and unlock those exact features. typical things like skins/backgrounds/badges etc can be brought with premium currency to. sure game is a slow simmer, but thats the point, its meant to be enjoyed, i wouldnt say its a main screen monitor game if you dont want it to be, its got a good community, good fun with a couple of mates when you get into a squadron and start battling or pooling your resources togther to build buildings that further increase your xp and gathering etc
I have played this game for HUNDREDS of hours in the Web version before it came to steam and let me tell you this is one of the best IDLE games I have ever played and I'll explain you why. As you may know, Idle games allow you to continue your progress even when the game is not open. So you set up your actions, let the game go by itself while you're away, come back a few hours later and keep playing with the accumulated offline time. Now, I especially like Stellar Odyssey because it is at the same time not too hard and not too easy. It requires some strategy and analytical thinking to understand the best course of action, and that's what makes it so fun. You are basically encouraged to interact with other players, join squadron, share ideas and plans, execute them together. At the same time, however, there are no giant skill trees, no overcomplicated mathematical optimizations to be performed, no obscure hidden information that only the dev and 3 other people know. Just read the ingame Wiki, it contains ALL the information. Most people who play Idle games think that games like Hay Day or Clash or Clans and their predatory system are the standard, where you're strongly "encouraged" to buy their stuff to basically keep playing for longer, otherwise you hit a wall and that's it for today Nothing of all that happens in Stellar Odyssey. There exists a VIP status that gives a boost to income, resources gathered, and other benefits, and so is strongly recommended to obtain, but it does NOT have to be bought. There exists the possibility to acquire it through a monthly subscription, OR it can be bough with a special currency obtained by playing the game and trading resources on the ingame market. So you can actually get the VIP by playing the game and by being good at it. While you MAY very well buy more ingame currency using real money, it won't actually get you very far. Playing the game, understanding the mechanics, interacting with the market and the other players are vital part of the game that will actually make you progress more than any deep pocket you may have. Over the years, I have played dozens of online Idle RPGs, many of which were rebranded ripoffs of other games, with vibe coded AI mechanics, AI generated graphics and other obscenities. But Stellar Odyssey is an original concept that has no equals in the Idle games landscape, led by a competent developer. I am grateful I could play this game. TL;DR: This game is one magnitude more interesting than slop phone games, while at the same time not being overcomplicated. The curious mind will enjoy dwelling into universe exploration, figuring out step by step what the mechanics are like. While it is possible to buy currency using real money, it won't get you very far. And there is no AI slop anywhere. 10/10 would play again and that's exactly what we're doing on the all new Steam server. Come join us!
Idea looks good. But game is not free. IF you want play real, need to pay 10 euro per month. Back to Idle Clans. Fair price and permament upgrades ^.^
I have been playing the "web" version of this game for a long time. The developer has taken pride in his project to provide fun new updates consistently for the players with some great ideas. I showed a friend many web idle games and this one was his favorite. I had some issues linking my web & steam account and the developer quickly responded on discord to help. Then i had another issue and he also quickly fixed that for me as well. This idle game has great potential for guild, pvp, and pve content, and great passive game to play while working, with a supportive developer.
I'm happy with the game so far. I'm learning a lot thanks to the help of my squadmates in a great atmosphere. I understand why some people leave negative comments claiming it takes months to get a fuel cell—which is completely false; they simply don't know the mechanics and haven't even bothered to learn how it works. If you know what you're doing, you can get one in two days—maybe three at most. The thing is, it's the kind of game that requires at least a little effort, whereas some people are just looking for an arcade-style game where you press two buttons and that's it.
10/10 would recommend this game, if you are interested for idle games. Great community with a very active dev and a lot of content to come.
Strongly recommend this game if your into having a side idler with the option to be active with no real hardcore commitments. The Pay2Win allegations are total crap. Its more of a subscription that unlocks some minor features that make things easier for you. You can earn in game currency to buy premium currency quite easily and unlock those exact features. Typical things like skins/backgrounds/badges etc can be brought with premium currency to. Great game, well designed for release and a ton of long term viability options for people wanting to get in a game that is more steady state/idle and doesn’t require constant attention.
