About
Design train tracks and stations with the simplicity of a grid and tiles, but the flowing shape of curved tracks. By alternating straight and curved sections of track, you can quickly and intuitively control the track layout.
Connect industries with trains to carry resources and deliver products to cities. Beyond the basic raw materials, most industries accept secondary or tertiary inputs that can boost production.
Optimize your solutions and compare with other people on a global leaderboard. You can iterate on solutions by making changes then running at 1000x speed to see the results. Or, run at normal speed and bask in the glory of your creation.

This is my favourite game at the moment. If you like trains and suppling industry? then you may like this. I keep going back to previously completed levels to see if I can make them more efficient. The play loop is very compelling. Then moving on to another city in the zone, One frustration I find annoying is crossing rivers, when the tracks connected go underground - with a bit of fiddling and relaying of the track usual can resolve this issue, Also you cannot bridge over existing rails, but you can cross them, with the appropriate signals in place. Overall I recommend this game.

In general a very cool Idea and I would really like to play it but it's very frustrating that the rails "need to be straight"? even though they are

Simple graphics, but great fun.
This is a very engaging cross between a puzzle game and train management sim. Despite what other reviews say, the controls seemed very intuitive coming from OpenTTD. I am not a fan of the AI art and dialogue but it is only a small amount and not central to the game in any way. Hopefully the developer can find a better replacement for this in the future. If you're like me and don't always have time to play OpenTTD, this could be a great option. The levels are smaller and present a challenge of delivering a final product that goes through a complex supply chain. The fun comes from optimizing the throughput of your network without having to balance an economy--instead, the running cost of your system is used as your score for completing a level. Sort of like SpaceChem or other Zachtronics puzzle games. The game is built with this and mind and very easily allows you to scale up a service with literally one-click. In addition to the levels, there is an open world view that presents different challenges. I found it difficult to plot out the space for a high-throughput system, so instead I designed something with an extremely small footprint. It was quite simple to create a couple rail services that carried mixed cargo to several stations with different orders--not only that, but I could also feed this rail line with a cargo transfer station on a dedicated coal line! I was able to zip through the (long) time to complete the challenge with a fast-forward button with a very bad score. But it still counted! The only thing I would want here would perhaps be different types of top-scores, so you could target your builds for different types of efficiency. So if you like puzzle games and transport tycoon-style games, you'll probably like this. And amazingly, it's free!!
The gameplay is solid and provides interesting and somewhat novel mechanics from being an optimization-themed game rather than just a normal rail builder, and I do enjoy the optimization aspects. In particular, I feel like the costs are balanced very well, so that you do eventually hit a point in an optimized network where squeezing out more production is overshadowed by the increased costs. I do feel like it takes much longer to build things than it probably should. I would highly recommend that the dev consider a copy-paste feature (or even a blueprinting feature), as you spend a lot of time rebuilding the same elements over and over. I imagine it wouldn't be too difficult, given that the game already lets you box-select and move chunks of infrastructure. I only had the patience to play the first few levels, but at a price of free that's probably worth trying out.
i really have been enjoying this game! i found it via a youtuber and since it was free and since i love puzzle games (especially ones where the goal is to maximize efficiency), i had to try it. and its really good! way better than a free game has any right to be. i honestly have no idea what the reviews talking about bad tutorials are talking about. the only thing ive had trouble with at all is the signaling, but i think im also trying to do things before the game tells me how to do them - since im going back and re-optimizing the first few levels, im not unlocking more advanced tutorials. when i moved to a new city last time, it gave me a (very understandable and comprehensive) tutorial on the exact thing id spent quite a bit of time figuring out myself on the previous level. track can be extended. track can be healed (turning a straight-curve-straight section into just a straight, or a curve-straight-curve section into just a curve). throwing one's hands up at that is a sign of a player who was simply unwilling to learn the game mechanics at all. the ai usage is silly and imo doesnt look very good but its such a small non-thing. its a puzzle game, not a story based game, so the ai is nothing but background that can be skipped without any consequences. i wish the dev hadnt used it, but its in no way worth a bad review on its own.
Wat een waardeloze ♥♥♥♥. Je kunt niet eens een fatsoenlijk spoor aanleggen. Telkens weer onbegrijpelijke foutmeldingen. Ook waardeloze tutorial.
