Very fun and unique game, devs also show a lot of care and passion for the game unlike Scamdivers Poo and LobotomyHead
the game's overall not bad but there are a lot of things that needs fixing first the good. reasonably solid gameplay loop and definitely not that difficult to learn the basics. feels faithful to the movie and it feels way more balanced than whatever helldivers 2 is trying to pull off. base building feels easy to do and the slight resourcing aspect is pretty interesting in a good way. also there seems to be a type of story and the game also at least feels like its rewarding your participation. also the 4x 4-man team feels sufficiently chaotic while not feeling limited overall. the bad. the weapon selection feels pretty limited in comparison to a lot of games so hopefully there are more things to use later. the game visually doesn't feel like its worth the price tag but this is a smaller issue. the singleplayer mode feels buggy and unfinished; you have very limited options on what you can tell your team mates to do and you have to walk up to them to do it and there's a bug in one of the early missions when you cannot place a gas resource into the bin. the iron sights on the guns generally feel terrible to use and i think its more of how the zoom was implemented... i see more of the gun's handle than the sight itself. there also seem to be some issues with the intro video since its lagging. overall there really doesn't feel like a lot to do despite the game being out for 3 years overall... yea would recommend. game does need more players at the moment too
Not allowing basic movement key rebinds is a massive deal breaker. People shouldn't have to apologise for being left-handed, having different shaped keyboards, playing on laptops or simply wanting to use arrow keys. There probably are workarounds outside of auto-hotkey but it's impossible to have a discussion without people trolling you and asking why you can't use WASD. Not everyone can. Not everyone wants to. Expecting maturity is a tall ask though. It should be a simple if anyone wants to help they can help and it'll be appreciated. Anyone that doesn't want to help can simply ignore and not help (rather than troll) but again it's a tall ask to expect maturity. Happy to update this review if the game ever receives basic modern key rebinding utility in the future.
They saw Helldivers 2 being a success so they went to license the source material only to make a worse horde shooter. This has class progression so you need to be playing the class to unlock the items. You have as many loadout options as you got classes, problem is when you're playing with randoms you can't tell if the class you brought will complement the rest of the team. Also if you're doing quickplay some perks in the loadouts are better for some missions and since the loadouts are locked when you start the game you can't switch stuff up, and after choosing a loadout if you regret it you can't switch. Bugs will frequently spawn under your feet and as a squishy human most likely than not you're going to be OHK by half the bugs that spawn. Between reloading and weapon switching as far as I can tell it's better to just reload since secondary is way too weak and reloading primary is usually as fast if not faster than switching weapons. Something that seems cool at the start is that the enemies leave the corpse behind which you could clear out, problem is you seem to need a perk to be able to be rewarded for clearing out the corpses. Also, there's barely any difference between a dead bug and live one specially after you made a huge pile of corpses except when the live bug noticed you and started going in your direction. Honestly, the best part of the game seems to be the base building but in OSS missions the repair time is practically non-existent and as far as I can tell maybe only non-engineer classes can't repair during the siege.
nah
i doing my part
Walk into an empty field, get stuck in a bug that lagged into position ontop of you. Get surrrounded by more lag bugs instantly die. Bugs are a powerpoint and its a bad experience~
Игра мертвая, онлайна нет от слова совсем , вернул деньги за нее
So, I know that this game has had some controversy, but I got here after all that. Overall, I think this is a lot of fun, especially if you are a fan of the original movie like I am. This game will make you feel like you are at that outpost with no hope of extraction, fighting against the flood of oncoming arachnids. Definitely worth playing.
its fun and chill
