I was going to give it a negative review, but then I noticed I played for a whole hour, yet it felt like 15 minutes. Edit: After playing a while longer I feel like this game deserves a deeper review. I stumbled upon this game while trying to find a neat space sim after getting burnt out on starsector. I came across this, and downloaded and played it despite telling myself I'm not touching an MMO. For the first 30 minutes I had no clue what I was doing, HOW I was even MOVING, and what the goal is. I knew one thing: Combat is done through drones, and I need drones to attack aliens. I had no drones. This was a problem and the goal was to find a solution. Eventually I'm on a planet with a station on it and I spam X to get cash and xp. No drones though. On this planet were a few million neutral drones. I press S after reading some guides and voila! I can buy 1000 drones per 1 weapon + 1M$. And the rest is history. The history: I hunted aliens for their ships and slowly increased the amount of drones I had until I exceeded 1M drones, built a bunker and moved some planets around. Then I messaged Sigillus, an experienced player and we played this game together for a while, shared intel on boss aliens and so on. It was really fun. This game is unlike any other.
I played this game back when it was all telnet and text-based. I took a look into this new incarnation. Very interesting choice of interfaces, with all the old keyboard shortcuts taking the lead role of UI. Is that the real Ray Yeargin at the helm?!?! Traded some words I believe back in the old server days, before the crash of the Perpetual Game and return of the Last Resort. And that is all I see missing here, a Perpetual Game of pure pvp trading. politics, and combat. Definitely recommended for anyone into the old feel games! If I am in game, I'm at my old handle, Pirate Of The Spaceways.

I played for 30hrs and i really liked it until i found out that all the progress i made was for nothing. big bummer also not enough players to get the game going.
I enjoy text-based games but I have No idea what's happening. There's no sense of Self or position in a realm of any kind, like floating in the cold darkness of the abyss. Tutorial is a 20-part wall of text. I don't mind the "sitting in stations" aspect but there's nothing to use as a point of reference to doing anything, just action commands on screen as the "HUD" ....the abstraction is HUGE. The atmosphere/music will pull me back in for sure and maybe something will start to make sense.
Literally a BBS door game.
I don't know what I'm doing but I'm enjoying it
Charming and oldschool, this game just needs more players to be extremely interesting. A very fun game, devoid of artificial difficulty and surprisingly addictive.
для меня это перебор, воздержусь
it is very
Counterintuitive/weird way to find the tutorial. Fairly nice game, once you found it tho
