Stargazing: Genesis

really lovely puzzle game. very well thought out and intuitive. only one or two of these really had me stumped to a frustrating level but for the most part you get rewarded for paying attention.

Very clearly it's heavily inspired by the Rusty lake series with it's art style, puzzle style and story?? Story wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special or original. Puzzles weren't hard by any means but they def took a while to get through because some of the puzzles felt very trail and error. I'm a bit stupid and the puzzles weren't very straightforward. XD But eyy, not too shabby for a free little game. I give this game like a 6 out of 10. I would maybe rate it higher, but like a said, its HEAVILY inspired by Rusty Lake. Which isn't a problem at all, but I wish this game did the puzzles a little different. And well the random bird story.. Wasn't bad, but wasn't the best either. And that's okay! <3 I had fun playing it and I recommend it if you enjoy the Rusty Lake games or just puzzle games in general.

"Stargazing" Genesis erinnert in vielen Aspekten stark an die Spiele von Rusty Lake, vor allem durch seine ruhige, rätsellastige Struktur und den Fokus auf eine durchdachte, mysteriöse Handlung. Besonders positiv fällt die Story auf. Sie ist klar geplant, baut logisch aufeinander auf und entwickelt sich Schritt für Schritt weiter, ohne sich dabei zu verlieren. Man merkt, dass hinter der Handlung ein Konzept steckt und nicht nur lose Ideen aneinandergereiht wurden. Auch die Rätsel sind gut gestaltet: herausfordernd, aber nachvollziehbar, und meist so aufgebaut, dass man mit etwas Nachdenken selbst auf die Lösung kommt. Dadurch bleibt der Spielfluss erhalten und Frust entsteht nur selten. Die Grafik ist dabei nicht herausragend, erfüllt aber ihren Zweck. Sie wirkt schlicht und teilweise etwas einfach, passt jedoch zur Atmosphäre und ist insgesamt absolut akzeptabel für ein Spiel dieser Art. Für Fans von Spielen des Rusty Lake Studios, sowie generell Rätselspielen, definitiv zu empfehlen. Müsst ihr Wissen!
