The name Stardander is a bit odd...reminds me of dandruff. Or just dander. But it's still exponentially better than Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The setting is cool and the art is extremely detailed. Early on there were choices and other lements, like a crafting and inventory system, that point to this being an actual game that requires the player to use their brain. I think this is the same person or team that made Deity Quest, which is cool. I wish the developer(s) luck finishing the upcoming game, Stardander School for Witches.
Before I played Stardander Revenant, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
I was browsing through steam’s free section (as one does), and I found this game. This short little free game has me playing it IN MY DREAMS! The amount of replayability that this short, hour-long game has is crazy! - STORY The story is great, despite how short it is, and I hate having to tear myself away from this game. I’ve replayed it several times, it has yet to get old. - SOUND DESIGN The soundtracks sound amazing, and they really bring out the vibe of the game! Hearing a track loop isn’t repetitive, it’s just more of the same great music! All the SFX are crisp, and don’t get annoying after hearing it again for the twentieth time. - LENGTH If you’re a story person: 1-1.5 hours If you’re a combat person: 30-40 minutes - COMBAT Normal Mode - Requires a basic understanding of the mechanics. Hard Mode - Actual strategy is needed, so no charging in here thinking that you can brute-force it! - THE SEQUEL Oi! Heads up, I only played the demo, so I don’t know if it improves after the demo’s allowed timeframe. The sequel’s demo is straight trash. I know you may search for it anyways to try and find that same spark you may have found from this game, but it’s truly horrible. Combat is unbalanced as heck, the story sucks, the characters have NO meaningful interaction, and the art really is just as bad as it looks. (We don’t talk about Devin…)
Good BGM Has many skill tree branches, some are OP Can spam spells Can spam potions Characters has aura color match with skill Has auto save and many save slots Has crafting Story is ok if you don't think too much Hard mode is hard, it becomes strategy game Too short Good Game

Very short side quest for an in-development game. This is a cross between a turn based RPG and a visual novel, with heavy emphasis on the setting and the yuri. The VN is fine, reasonable choices if a bit railroaded. The turn based combat, of which there are 5 total in the game, is decent and strategic (especially on hard mode, that hard mode achievement was tough) but the UI and information view isn't as good as I like. It's hard to tell how many attacks an enemy is going to use to optimally use shields, and on controller (SteamDeck) I wan't able to see what buffs the enemies had were doing without recasting the scanning spell. Storywise I didn't like it as much, the protagonist Griselda is a bit of a creep, especially in the romance route. At least toward the end she did improve, but by that point I didn't really want to play as her. I hope the full game gives you better choices. I played on the SteamDeck and it worked, though some UI elements in the battles were a bit hard to access, and there isn't much contrast between what's selected and what's not so be careful when playing on controller/Deck. It's free, so if you want a quick play give it a try.
