this game (if you only wanted multiplayer) definitely had about the worst launch you could get (considering all the game development was done) that being said there isnt really anything wrong with the game except for the obscene file size. its still fun even 20 years later

Personally, i grew up with the OG, this is curing my nostalgia, people here are too negative for no reason, they did exactly as listed, its remastered i dont know what people expected it to be in 8k or something that would change the scene of the game a lot, they even threw in some extras, i have no complaints its great, I am unsure of the multiplayer as it wasn't my focus when i bought this so i haven't tried it yet but i have absolutely no regrets I am loving every second of it. People just love to complain and whine about every game franchise, don't be discouraged, buy it, you'll love it, it even has split screen!

im just an average guy with my own views, but that dont stop me from realizing when something is now good, people change just as these games change, ♥♥♥♥♥ all you want, im going to play this, idgaf what big mega corp i fund, well guess what, the future is ran by megacorps, they will get us to space-faring age. enough of that, get the game, stop whining, lets play some battlefront with the boys.

Veterans of this game have complained for YEARS that they wanted this remake, idk what happened with it but everyone seems pretty pissed about it now that its out, weird.

What a sad rerelease bundle of great games. If you want to try it out, get a steam key from G2A/Kinguin for 10€, its not worth it much more. Otherwise get the OG ones for cheaper together on sale. The Classic Collection is essentially both OG Battlefronts in one. With upscaled textures that still look 2000s but take up 4 times more space. And some DLC maps and settings that can easily be added back by modding. So yeah nothing new or innovate, actually worse than the OGs. Enemy AI is overtuned and unfair as hell on hard/elite difficulty, sometimes even on normal. Your own AI is dumb as hell, pathing is broken on certain maps. So you end up struggling doing the campaigns. Enemy AI constantly focuses you from whatever distance. 4K upscaled textures, still same source materials from 2000s. You can literally count the pixels on the training video since they didnt bother rerecording it on modern resolution. UI HUD elements are out of place sometimes due to wrong aspect ratio calculation. All existing mods for the OGs made since 2000s do not work here. Multiplayer is dead, no one plays it. Overall, just get the OGs for much cheaper and full mod support and online community.

Game runs awesome graphics look better than the original games and if you don’t play online and just play the story mode and instant action this game is great. They have updated it as well so things are much much better highly recommend this game. When I played this game with my friend on his PlayStation 2 it never had online so people need to just deal with it. Classic game!!!
