STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order™

After 100% completing Jedi: Fallen Order, would I recommend it? I absolutely would. Fallen Order is the first of the "Jedi" series of games from EA which blend action RPG and soulslikes together with a Star Wars theme. The combat is intuitive and generally easy to pick up although on harder difficulties it is still punishing enough to the point it's an engaging challenge. Outside of the combat there are puzzles and free running esque segments and plenty of collectables to look around the maps for. The game does have some performance issues and technical hiccups such as large lag spikes / freezes when alt tabbing or using the steam overlay. As well as some general bugs surrounding the collectables not being able to be collected. The story and general star wars backdrop serves as a great reason to go through the gameplay loop. As an Avid Star Wars fan the story of Fallen order sits among the best in my opinion and features what have become some of my favourite Star Wars characters. This is in part thanks to the excellent visual and audio design at play, although it is rather easy to follow the outline that is already in place thanks to the years of star wars content the choices made on what specific sounds as well as direction for visual elements are genuinely great. As a completionist the game is a great choice, Most of the achievements are obtained just through regular gameplay. Some are your traditional "collectathon" type achievements for finding all the crates/secrets/data scans ect. and then some are the more specific type of achievement you wont get without trying too (normally) like killing 3 enemies with 1 lightsaber throw. There are not any insanely grindy, bugged or ridiculously hard achievements to sour the grind while also not being too easy or non-rewarding. Overall in my opinion the game is fantastic and a genuine 10/10, I put off finishing the 100% grind for years due to other projects and life commitments not because of its quality as a game. Its a full package to me of being a great and rewarding game to play and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. For Star Wars fans I'd say the game is well worth the full price, but even for non Star Wars fans I would 100% recommend it when on sale (normally is seen at 70%+ off.)
