Sweet another PoS Abusive Customer Service agreement revision, So never to be installed again, Join: <PSO2:NGS,NeverWinter Online, Star Trek: Online, and GTA Online<this one is for real life abusive practices<including sending the goon squad to your real life address; for any and all reason and made up ones, also. Of course it's a free to play. So how else does anyone not receive it for free?
It's funny watching all the people in the reviews who don't know the term "gacha game" crash out over the microtransactions when I've played other gachas and they're far, FAR worse than this game in terms of monetization. For people who have played gacha games before, here's some relevant info as someone who has progressed to the endgame, do with it what you will. - You get plenty of great rewards from playing the game, including plenty of gacha pulls. Don't worry about trying to max out events and get the high ranked rewards if you're F2P, I only ever managed to get good rewards from that once or twice. But suffice it to say, you don't need to spend money on this game to have a good time (and you probably shouldn't, the prices for stuff are kinda insane). - The game has a pity system, but it's not really like other gachas. You get a guaranteed 4 star or higher with every 10x premium portal pull, but there's no pity system in the actual portal mechanic. Instead, as you use the Scan feature you'll unlock things called Constellations which represent a crew member in the game; you can break them open to get a Polestar of one of their traits, which you can use later down the line. There's a system where you can input up to 4 Polestars (there are ones for rarity and skills as well) to whittle down the list of crew in the game to just the one you want, and then you can spend Credits (which you get from activities such as breathing and existing) to instantly receive a copy of that crew member. Additionally, if you don't have the Polestars or Constellations you need, you can just buy them from other players on a marketplace using ISM, which you get from login stuff or from selling your own Polestars and Constellations on the marketplace. - You can watch ads every so often to do a mission you've already 3 starred for no Chroniton cost, or double the rewards from a completed mission (as in, literally multiply each item you got by 2), but the ads are completely optional. - If you're really serious, join a good Fleet. You can get a ton of benefits right off the bat that way. - I've never won on the free Dabo. Ten years of playing this game. Not once. Not even with the extra ad spin. - If you see Chronitons as a reward for something, do it. - The D'Kora Krayton + 4 crew members that deal instant damage is the best ship build in the game (at least for F2P). If you get that, you never have to worry about ship battles again. You can get schematics for it from the premium time portal and they drop fairly regularly, so if you want to focus on ship battles, try to prioritize getting free pulls for that portal. - "Immortalizing" a character means getting them to level 100, getting enough duplicate copies to max out their star rarity, and equipping all of their necessary items (the first and last ones are functionally the same thing). Getting enough XP to get to level 100 is relatively easy (I have over a thousand of the max rarity trainers) and the game offers Honorable Citations that are single-use items that can stand in for copies of crew of a certain rarity that you can buy with the currency you get from getting rid of crew you don't need. The main obstacle is getting the items you need to equip, as the items aren't distributed very well across the missions and some items you can only get from Shuttle Missions that take 3 hours apiece. You'll want to do a lot of Augment and Section 31 missions, as they drop items that a lot of crew members need that can't be gotten anywhere else besides occasionally showing up in their faction stores. - Cadet Missions are incredible and you want to do as many of them as you can. Focus on immortalizing useful 2 star crew members early. Remember that you can check the base max stats of a crew member from the crew page. - Try to get 3 stars on every mission to unlock all of the items for immortalization. Also, immortalize as many crew members as you can, there are Collections that give you buffs for immortalizing crew. - Look up the stats of crew members you get from Beholds (which is where the game lets you choose between 3 options when you roll a 4 or 5 star on the gacha). Often crew members will have stats that make them good for either the Gauntlet, Ship Battles, or Missions. - Try to minimize the amount of trophies you get in the Gauntlet so you don't get matched up against players running Immortalized 5 stars with Quipment. Those aren't beatable unless you have a similar build, so steer clear. - I will be honest and say that as someone who's been playing since 2016 I have no idea what the new player onboarding experience is like in 2026. Also, the story kinda sucks. TL;DR, this is a gacha game for people who like Star Trek, and if you don't like gachas, you won't like it. If you're like me though and like those kinds of games and want to collect your favorite characters, you'll enjoy this one.
c'est pas foufou
It's a shame that this game is so pay-to-win because it could have been pretty good. I'd recommend Star Trek fleet command instead if you're looking for a chill, mobile-esque Star Trek game. Lack of kudos.
This is a free game, and it does have microtransactions. I've been playing this game since 2017 or 2018 on mobile, but never really played it much on PC. Having said that, this game is made for Star Trek fans. It's not versatile, and it could be better, but overall it's just something you play to pass the time. There's a fleet (read guild) aspect of the game which actually improves and benefits solo play. If you like collecting crew members from various Star Trek shows from different episodes and during different seasons, this game is for you. You can send your crew on a voyage to collect resources, you can choose which crew to send, mixing and matching ships and crew for pvp battles, voyages, or various (weekly) events can be lots of fun. There's plenty of ways to get resources and crew within the game without paying for anything. There are some things you can only get by paying for content, but if you don't have FOMO, you'll be fine.
great game, but kind of purchase heavy.

buen juego para fans de star trek, toma de decisiones y gacha, la manera en como hacen crossover con todas las edades del universo de star trek, la posibilidad de usar la nave que quieras y la tripulacion es buena
