Exceeded my expectations. A pretty great Phoenix Wright/bullet hell mashup with more heart than you'd expect for the price of free, even if it got a little too hard for me right at the end. Skill challenges gatekeeping climactic story moments are always frustrating. Still, I'll absolutely plunk money for the sequel whenever it comes out.
So I went into this thinking it was gonna be a puzzle or chat choices type game cause I didn't read the tags, but even though it was a very hard bullet hell shooter, I did enjoy it. Maybe next time I should check the tags or even watch the full trailer though lol
Ace Attorney but instead of solving puzzles you play tohou

What a cute, fun sized adventure game! I love a good murder mystery, and this one was a joy to complete. The art is charming, the bullet hell gameplay is challenging, but not impossible thanks to the very easily found accessibility options, and the mystery was fun to decipher! I almost wish it had been longer!
A pretty great game. The bullet patterns are engaging and well telegraphed. I actually didn't see all the plot coming that was there. A few clues came out to be red herrings, but they made sense in the way that they were red herrings. However, the background of the final boss hurt my eyes to the point of the fight not being playable, and the words rotating during the word selection segment of fights is a bit annoying while trying to dodge bullets. My eyes are sensitive to shifting and rotating backgrounds like that, so an option to disable them or replace them with something like the regular scrolling background would be appreciated
With it's short run time it's able to have a good cast and mystery. Using bullet hell as a way to collect testimony/find contradictions was really fun and unique with interesting visuals. For most of the game the difficulty ramps up nicely, but the final battle was a big jump and what most of my playtime was on.
what happens when gameplay from danganronpa and touhou project fuse together one word awesomeness
This game was fun! I really wished it was longer, but it had a good plot and funny characters. The only thing I would change is the difficulty of the battle aspect, all 5 lives would run out too quickly and for the boss battle I had to resort to using infinite lives. But it was fun overall, and I hope I can see these characters again in the future!
