Although the publisher says the game is complete, and hasn't updated it in 6 months, there are still bugs like where a teammate expresses that you're a couple when you aren't. Another is in just how quickly you run out of game play. The publisher's first effort was also a little buggy after release, but it had a lot more content.
This game is not finished. It often freezes or crashes. You will not know this until after two hours have passed and thus will not get a STEAM refund. The Developer is the only one making money out of this.
Shelved until a few more updates. Cannot load saves, scenes really bugged, interactions bugged. Feels like this game still hasn't left the concept stage yet.
its just too short. all ending its the same. job doesnt matter. feel like lack of content. you have to commit to one individual to have relationship and do some action. repetitive. not so enggaging, you just can skip everything. still have some bug when talking about spy with alien. the game do it for you-not you doing the game. i feel like this have some potential. some of you guys rly need to see carefully if you want to buy a game. this game for example, review is mixed also dont need many storage and memory. this two already set some flag. be careful guys. i hope they will updated it
I am loathe to give this game a negative review - I was a big fan of General Practitioner - but there are too many problems with it that simply cannot be ignored. There are multiple errors where the screen will go grey and text will pop up telling you an error has occurred. The first game breaking bug I experienced revolved around the first away mission to the space station being on a loop, never seeming to finish, followed by an eventual 'back to start screen with no warning' action. I did note however, that the game seemed to think I was still in the Academy - week 22 of 17(?). So I tried again as a Command school candidate. This time, it didn't even get as far as the first away mission - I somehow ended up in 'never ending training' at the academy again, with the crash back to the start screen again falling on week 22 of 17! Something is clearly critically wrong with the game. There are numerous other errors too, such as being told an action has failed but the following text then tells you that you actually succeeded, the wrong avatar head being shown when another characters name is 'speaking' in the text. Also, there doesn't seem to be any character animations at all for me - I find this odd as even General Practitioner (an earlier game) had animated relationship actions. I'm not sure if this is an error or if it was genuinely not included. All in all, this game hasn't turned out how I expected. The developer said in another post that the story is essentially finished, so that's why I have completed this review now - I can't seem to get anywhere near the end of the story-line, so much appears to be not working properly! I hope this issues are fixed, so I can come back and change my review later. Lets see, eh?
U wish i could give this game a positive review, it has a decent demo, and the storyline seemed to be decent, however there are SERIOUS Bugs and the developer has not fixed them even though they have taken it out of early access. read the forum before buying this. Update: As it took me over two hours to find the bug, steam will not refund the money i paid for this game.
I honestly bought this game without bothering to read the reviews, or warnings on the store page. I was taken fully in by the promise of a story and all the different paths you could take. Honestly amazed. Doctor, engineer, commander... whatever I wanted to be. Then I found out it's pure filth disguised as a sci-fi RPG. I didn't mind so much tbh, but there is very little re-playability and the game writing get progressively worse towards the end. It doesn't even matter what field you pick... Command, science, engineering etc... It always shoe horns you into the same situations and the story doesn't change at all. I really wanted to like this. But I just can't.
Fantastic premise, but the game is unfinished and buggy. The writing is inconsistent at best, some scenes flow from beginning to end with no issues, others seem to loose the plot. The "Scenes" are just overlays of characters over Dialogue and description that does not match with no player input. TL;DR, Star Trek sex simulator is bad.
Game is promising yet very buggy at its current stage, about an hour into the game the save button or pressing esc to save and load does not work any more, the crash/debug screen opens and cannot go anywhere from there. Again about an hour into the game pressing the back button to read something over or chose a different dialog path takes you back to the first battle scene and you need to go through the whole scene and choices over and over again to get back to where you were. Until these major bugs are fixed the game cannot be played at its current state.
