its a fun, if simple game about killing monsters.
+Free -Way too simple / repetitive to my taste -> level up selections are too sparse and effects didn't feel meaningful -Press <Xbox controller B> to roll but it did nothing in game = Disappointment I could not find the fun and would not ever recommend this game for myself so I sure won't recommend it for you either. ............................................________........................ ....................................,.-‘”...................``~.,.................. .............................,.-”...................................“-.,............ .........................,/...............................................”:,........ .....................,?......................................................\,..... .................../...........................................................,}.... ................./......................................................,:`^`..}.... .............../...................................................,:”........./..... ..............?.....__.........................................:`.........../..... ............./__.(.....“~-,_..............................,:`........../........ .........../(_....”~,_........“~,_....................,:`........_/........... ..........{.._$;_......”=,_.......“-,_.......,.-~-,},.~”;/....}........... ...........((.....*~_.......”=-._......“;,,./`..../”............../............ ...,,,___.\`~,......“~.,....................`.....}............../............. ............(....`=-,,.......`........................(......;_,,-”............... ............/.`~,......`-...............................\....../\................... .............\`~.*-,.....................................|,./.....\,__........... ,,_..........}.>-._\...................................|..............`=~-,.... .....`=~-,_\_......`\,.................................\........................ ...................`=~-,,.\,...............................\....................... ................................`:,,...........................`\..............__.. .....................................`=-,...................,%`>--==``....... ........................................_\..........._,-%.......`\............... ...................................,<`.._|_,-&``................`\..............

Addictive, just one more run... Then another and another, make more games, maybe a sequel, but charge for it. This is great fun... Hard but great, the unlock progression journey is perfect so far... Plays great on Steam Deck.. FREE!! but great, coming back to this one more than games I've paid for.. Super Recommended
Ok, this is the 3rd time I’d swear I already wrote a review for a game, but this time I’m not going all out just in case it disappears again (plus this one is easy… it’s amazing, just get it!)
It has a lot of charm and style to it definitely worth a play through.
Interesting rogue-like with a charming art style.
I'm currently doing a challenge to play through a free game in every single category on steam. I then give an honest review using ChatGPT.
Game: 62 / 447 Category: Supernatural "A Cute, Brutal Grind" This 2D roguelike may look adorable with its pixel art charm, but don’t let that fool you—it’s a tough-as-nails grindfest that will test your patience as much as your skills. Battling waves of supernatural monsters and upgrading your character through card-based power-ups sounds fun, and it is—until the relentless difficulty makes you want to chuck your keyboard out the window. Speaking of keyboards, the controls could use some love. They’re snappy enough, but not being able to rebind keys feels like a glaring oversight. It’s clear this game was designed with controllers in mind, which might make the frustration just a bit more bearable. For a free game, it’s certainly worth a try, especially if you’re a fan of punishing roguelikes and have the perseverance to grind for materials. But if you’re easily frustrated, consider yourself warned—you might find yourself rage-quitting before you make it to the next level.
I guess you get what you see, those who play similar games will probably like it, but I have to admit it might be just not my thing. Also I'm not entirely sure if I remember the visuals correctly, so either it's just not good for my eyes or it was indeed looking somewhat bad. i can see people having fun with it however.

neat little game. I think once you get the hang of it you sort of see all you will. It caps out the currency and I had a run where I basically just stopped due to boredom rather than difficulty. The combining items aspect is fun and there's enough progression to keep me interested though. Good time to spend an afternoon. Also heads up, exiting the game doesn't work properly? It hangs up and you have to end the task to properly end it.
