Springs of Ardor

While it was a bit more costly then usual games of this style I have no regrets as it was quite fun and sexy. Besides the sexy bits I really liked the music. The sex music had an awesome beat, and the fun casual music was super relaxing. It avoided being repetitive as it the beats were good and so didn't mind looping. I was rather impressed with the music simply because it added nicely to the atmosphere. Anyhow quick summary: PROS: - Very hot sexy guys. I admit to bias as I am like Noah. I like bit hot muscular brawny guys - Nice variety of sexcapeds with guys - Loved the story simply because it was a fantasy sex story where the story tied into the sexual aspects directly; it was connected and felt like a common fantasy. Your own island, sex magic, horny hot guys, etc. - I really liked Noah, Mateo, and Juan which helped me both connect to them and let me enjoy "being" Noah. Again I was lucky that I shared Noah's taste in guys. - Heather was a nice addition to help balance the other parts of the game but could have done more (see below). - Enjoy the quests and side stuff and would have liked a bit more. - Good quality for the visuals for the guys CONS: - Wish it had been longer. I finished in 5 hours and that was with some time spent rewatching scenes and leaving the music running in the background. - I felt the ending could have involved Heather more (can't say why do to spoilers). I felt like it was maybe leading up to that but it was dropped/cut. - A few of the scenes were hard to see (low light, fog/mist) but not a big deal - I think more could have been done with side stuff, like more lore, little quests, etc. - Two typo's in the text. Not really a con, and its not a big thing, but with so little text I think its important there are no typo's. Typos; tend to bring me out of the story. Anyhow two small minor things. Overall I recommend the game and give a thumbs up (among other things) and think it was good. Would buy any sequel or more works from this team. EDIT: For future games from this team would also like to see a few more choice and consequences with different outcomes. Like some choices change who you end up with at the end, if anyone, or some different results. A chance to express Noah in some different ways, etc.

Recommended if you are looking for an explicit content linear short adventure. Probably, best thing is to get it while on sale. Guys are hot, but I was a bit dissapointed that main character only bottoms.

I made the bad ending and the good ending, but it looks like there might be a third ending. Enjoyed the story quite a bit. Nice job! Much better than the stories you see in other games of this genre, Great graphics - the spa and the guys looked great! The only suggestions I have are that (1) it would be nice to feel like I had more choices. There were important events, but it felt like there were only a few of them (it feels like the detective's outcome should have been a choice), and (2) some of the events (like cleaning the hotel room) felt like busy work and didn't really seem to have much point. Also (3) it feels like there's a lot about the spa that I haven't learned - I'm guessing you will cover some of that in the next game? Again, great game that I actually enjoyed reading the story and wanted to see where it was going and what was going on.

I enjoyed the game and while it was short and quite simple, there was a lot of CGs so I appreciated the detail and effort.

Short game with strange plot and boring content. Graphics are pretty cool, characters are quite realistic, but that's all. It's overpriced. I could pay more, but for more interesting game.

This has a light but engaging story (really!) and really leaves a lot of room for further development. I really hope more is to *ahem* come :) from this setting and these characters. The renders/sex are very good! but yeah, it's an all around great game I'm happy I spent the price for.

There's a lot of VNs with CG art and luckily this is one of the good ones. The guys look amazing which is this game's best asset by far. The writing is competent despite a few typos, and the premise is creative and lively. I enjoyed reading through the dialog for the most part, but the mid-NSFW scenes probably had the weakest spoken exchanges between characters. They all just kinda say the same things every scene, even when different characters are involved. A lot of "baby," and "you like that?" and things like that. You should also be aware that this is a VN through and through, not a dating sim. You don't "choose" who to pursue, but rather are told a story about (primarily) three men. Not saying that as a dig and I don't think it advertises the contrary or anything, but it helps inform the buyer, I think. Gameplay is almost nonexistent. The scenes where you have to find clues in the environment is a tired trope in the genre and rarely anything more than simply doing figure-8s across the screen with the cursor. There are achievements and gallery unlocks which justify the dialog choices, but there aren't a lot of them and they don't really offer any meaningful changes to the story. Still, I'm a fan of the author's work and hope that they're able to bring more of their stuff to other platforms like Steam, and I would totally love to see them flex their gameplay chops with a more involved VN or dating sim!

Initially, the game attracted me with its beautiful images, and they are really good here. Yes, the game is short, I completed it in 2.5 hours by slowly reading all the messages, and the plot is not so complicated, but nevertheless it is not bad. There is room for a continuation. If you're looking for pretty animations - no, there aren't any here - just images, but they're good. In the future I'd like to have a bit more of a content, but this is up to the developer. The question is - I still don’t understand where there're another 3.5 hours to complete the story :/

其实还挺出乎意料的不错的，但美中不足感觉剧情有点过于神秘了，扔掉大脑比较好（但毕竟是个色色游戏我觉得也无伤大雅）（也不排除是我啃剧情啃得有问题） 而且看隐藏剧情貌似是可能有下一部的样子？ 建模其实真挺精细的，而且人物都长在我的Xp上[strike] 除了主角 [/strike]，但是主角其实带上墨镜还挺帅的 而且部分材质和渲染的都挺出色的，音乐也蛮好听的，也算是很精细的作品了！ 但是全成就基本也就2小时出头玩完了，虽然没有中文但是还蛮好啃的 相对而言这个价格还是相对较贵的，可以等打折买一个玩玩看！ 对我个人来说[spoiler] 我还蛮喜欢那个偷水贼的[/spoiler]
