Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
In Sponge Break the rules are agonizingly simple: navigate your raft down the river. That's it. Easy, right?
You and up to 3 friends are sponges trying to escape the tyranny of the kitchen sink, crammed onto a raft held together by wishful thinking, armed with your trusty plunger-hook. Use proximity voice chat to work together, or don't. Steer down the rapids to escape, solve puzzles to open pathways, navigate environmental dangers, try not to get set on fire, and fight beavers… yes, beavers.
So that friend who's "5 minutes away" can show up 40 minutes later and immediately make it worse. Playable solo too, no judgment.
Sponges lip-sync to your voice chat. Will you sing a shanty, scream a warning, or just listen to your crew fall apart in real time?
Navigate down the world's most dangerous rapids. Steer wrong, flip it and lose all your stuff, take a hit, and the thing comes apart under you. Every run has at least one moment nobody planned and everybody remembers.
A plunger that functions as a grappling hook, throw anything that isn't bolted down, and a shared raft stash for the loot you'll definitely lose.
Customize your sponge's eyes, eyebrows, mouths, hats, your inflatable buoys, even your plunger. Plus emotes, for celebrating a clean run or pointing very clearly at whoever sank it… It was Doug. It's always Doug.
The full journey will take you through sewers, rivers, abandoned facilities, and more! Hang out at safehouses between levels to patch up, revive, restock, and have a quick argument before setting sail again.

VERY buggy. We'd randomly get pulled off the raft or it would shoot into the sky for no reason. Normally i like janky games but its a bit much.
Whats not to love. I think its so fun! only played a little with my twin but i give a 10/10 thus far
Generally a very fun and interesting game idea I haven't seen anywhere else. Sadly, it's almost unplayable with the amount of lags and glitches—I just feel like the game isn't ready yet. It's also very hard to see and steer with more than two players on the raft (a third-person mode just for the raft would be fire!). The game also needs to be optimized badly; I have massive FPS drops and can barely play at 2K with high or even medium settings, even though I have a powerful RTX 5070 Ti and Ryzen 5 7500X3D. I'm still having fun playing, but I wouldn't recommend it right now.

RV There Yet but on a raft. What's not to love?
So much fun!
Generally fire, but very buggy, VoiceChat glitches and the raft is also buggy, game needs a better optimization and more clear instructions for new players.
So far we are having a lot o fun playing this, it's more challenging than expected but you get better as you play. There's ton of consumable hidden everywhere so exploring is rewarding and the cosmetics look cool. The one bad thing I have to say is this: MARVIN!!! Stop grappling me and help control the raft you moron!! (Marvin is the one annoying friend who's there for the chaos more than the progression.
Best indie game ive played in a long time shout out to EnragedYak for stepping in my twitch chat and giving my friend and I helpful tips, were definitely going to attempt to beat this game. Definitely not a "friend slop" video game.
Absolutely amazing game. its great solo but even better with friends. its also really nice to play both! solo can be easier because its just you controlling the raft but you dont have friends to punch the water out of you so its pretty challenging. After playing it for around a few hours its just so fun and addictive
this game is hilarious me and my friend played together and we laughed the whole time it was so fun and the physics of the raft make this game difficult but not impossible. the devs are some of the best i've ever seen, they hopped in my friends twitch chat while we were playing and gave us some tips that allowed us to pass the next level. there are tons of cosmetics and no microtransactions. It is not friend slop, it is a great game to play with your friends. one of the best indie games ive ever played. definitely pick this game up it is a great game and even better with more people.
