It's a very fun game when it works. My time with the game has been a blast despite the game breaking issues I came across. The visuals are pleasant featuring a very soft pallete and a nice variety of enviroments across the levels, and the story is no-nonsense straight to the point. Gameplay is where this shines though, it almost feels too good for the level design. When you play you'll want more of a challenge from what's offered. It's extremely smooth and precise, you can often break out of bounds or skip entire sections by the tools you are given. The "drop shadow circle" is an excellent choice! It makes navigating a breeze for landing any of the more precise jumps. It's simple, feels amazing and it works well! You'll want more when you finish... If you can finish. Which- unfortunately brings me to the second part of my review. I'm going to list all my complaints with it and i'll be honest it starts very light but it's damning at the end. - No subitles in the intro cutscene, no option for it either. - Enemies can shoot through many obstacles and objects. They will still hit you. - Some areas have strange collision where you can end up just floating. - The boss had no music for me, just silence and and the occasional sound effects+voice lines. - Lingering hitboxes on the boss after the swing attack. (almost always his back for some reason.) - Boss breaks if you don't look at him during his dash attack. (But it doesn't break the fight, he just goes into a stun state instead after you look at him again.) - After I defeated the boss I got a fatal error and the game crashed. (could be related to above, in which case don't look away from the boss ever.) - One point I had to restart completely because I couldn't jump or use my special ability. (This was the level right before the boss too.) I played through twice, it was fun but both times I didn't get to finish it because of a bug or the game crashing. It is absolutely worth a play despite those problems, I'm not sure how common they are. Still a very good experience, even better if it gives you a smooth bugless/crashless run. It's free so why not give it a shot at least!

Out of all the student projects I’ve seen, this one isn’t the worst, BUT in all the time I played I only looted 3 elements, and they’re used only to kill mobs. I didn’t find any puzzles or any other use for the elements in the game. The game is very raw, boring, and repetitive. And the fact that it’s a student project doesn’t make it any better.
Very cute game. Easy. Good for kids and for chill game play. I stopped playing when my checkpoint spawn point was instant death to lava.
Old shaman would kicks ass. If it was not for clunky battles and floaty controls. Game looks cool dow but need better controls. ⣴⣿⣦⡀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⣼⣿⣿⣿⣷⡀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⣼⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣦⣄⡀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣷⣶⣤⣤⣶⣶⣿⣿⡗ ⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⠟⠀ ⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⠃ ⣿⣿⡇⠜⠙⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⠀⠀Got a cat here ⣿⣿⣿⣶⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⠋⡹⠙⣿⣿⣿⡇⠀ Friends passing ⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣷⣶⣾⣿⣿⠛⠀⠀by can touch her ⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⡟⠛⠁⠀⠀and click Like to pet ♡ ⣿⣿⡿⠻⠿⠿⠿⠿⠛⠹⠑⠀⠀ Award for good luck, Take My Points for infinite pets ♡ ⠟⠁⠀

Super cute game that has a lot of charm, I definitely will be going back to 100% the game. Spoiler but the final boss of the game reminded me of bosses you would see in Epic Mickey which is 100% a good thing! Great work overall!
Very fun and pretty
I Love the vibe of it. The grandma kicks butt! really fun game would recommend.
One of the best student games, I'd say. Reminds me of the Jak and Daxter time. It has a lot of stuff that other student games don't have. Voicelines are the most obvious though the male voice is better acted than the female. Settings menu is insanely packed for a student game. Though definitely visit the settings since your resolution might be defaulting to something abysmal. It has a Lock-on for enemies. Very nice and needed QoL (for controller gamers) The attacks have nice hit lag and you feel quite powerful as a turbo grandma, but the animations are a bit washy. You can't really feel your range or your impact. It's sometimes as if your range is greater than the animation goes. And your Click-to-attack to the actual attack delay is a bit too high. You can see yourself through crates or pipes, very nice. Though you can't see yourself through trees There are a bunch of crates you can destroy, but you don't ever get anything out of it. That's a bit irritating since it's normal game design to reward when the player interacts with the world. They may be part of a secret you can find by destroying them and suddenly under these crates was a tunnel. Or give them the chance to drop health packs. If you give the player a feature that is basically pointless, you're not taking advantage of your resources. Dev time. Though even not considering dev time. You don't want to feel ignored by the game world. If your actions don't matter. Maybe the assignment was due tomorrow, but I think that's important. You don't need water fall sounds, but this does contribute to the playability a lot. Works well on Linux as well (CachyOS with GE-Proton) except at the end when I beat the boss. UE Fatal error. So I can only imagine how it looks like. Btw, you don't need controllers for the best experience. Mouse and keyboard work effortlessly and frankly are better.
