Experience history with a twist: The perspectives of Gods, personalized virtues and vices are different from those of mere mortals in the spirit world we’ve built inspired by archetypal stories, western philosophy and core principles which the modern western society is built on: peace, democracy, rule of law, freedom, tolerance, pluralism - and we’ll let you discover the rest.
Discover the forging of Europe & the birth of the western ethos: Possess any mortal, be it a mere commoner or a great figure of history. Drive their actions and learn about their way of life, beliefs, fears and hopes, aspirations and ambition - and you may be surprised at what you uncover.
Assemble your troops & manage your resources: Gain influence with the living and inspire them to build the great edifices we know today. Gather the souls of defeated vices and use them to summon allies from among those fallen throughout the ages. Augment them with godly essences for they will be your shield against the forces that seek your undoing - and you will witness how the bitterest foes can become allies.
By your hand shall history be made: Be the invisible hand that forges Europe’s history as we know it: from the ancient times of Classical Greece, throughout the glory of the Roman Empire, the tumult of its fall, the chaos that followed and the bonds formed in the Middle Ages. Your journey through Europe will only end once it’s reborn - or will it?

I reccommend cause it's free, but be aware, you will be wasting lot of time walking around speaking to each person over and over again. I like the fight and building a team system that's the main reason i played it. But then the map 7 got me tired, i might finish the game later but it's so tiresome to find which npc to speak to and possess to finish the quest. I hate having to watch a walktrough to advance, but you choose, you waste hours walking around or you use the walkthrough videos to know where to go. Also be carefull, at the end of map 5 you loose all your buildings don't remember what they are called, i had used all my souls to unlock knights and therefore play with low tier unit saving for that and boom, you become refugee and loose all building, i could'nt get my 125 spirit to summon a single knight and got wasted, with how often the game can make you loose unit or loose a fight you will learn to save a lot, F5 supposedly auto save? Never worked for me, also you have to erase save and save, it doesnt overwrite. But yeah so i saved after reading the refugee not expecting it actually meant loosing your building only, not that it would have matter though, cause i already spent my sould in the building to recruit knighs and couldnt get more souls anyways, so reloading wouldn't have helped me, but know this i reccommend that you build mid game unit before finishing map 5, Personnaly i think it's really a bad game design to do something like that with no notice, like at being of map 5 they could tell you that be carefull, you will loose all your investements after this map, but keep your actual units. Game has a lot of potential in my opinion, but since it was made for learning purpose and just force you to read as much as possible, it became a bit too annoying to me, but i really liked the fights system, also demon are limited per area, so after a moment you will have clean the whole thing. The way i play is i go spirit at the beginning of the map, gather everything, then possess the person with highest reputation talk to everyone, then after 45min of wasting my time and not finding who to talk to, go in that game steam community discussion, go in the walkthrough and see who exactly you should talk to to continue. Edit: i surrendered and just use the walkthrough to then build my team cause i like the tactical fight even though it become pretty easy with the right formation mid to late game, also the game like to remove all your inspire (what i called building before) to stop your progression, so i want to add that mid map 10 they do it again .. So be ready to buy your units before reaching that one too. I understand the reason since you would be maxed out if not, but bad design in my opinion, make no sense that you loose your spirit powers for no reasons.

Its a really fun game that teaches you about historical gods and kingdoms that existed long ago Has a lot of action you can host bodies and control them get into fights with other bad spirits its really fun 10/10 would recommend it
The starting story and game play aren't easy to follow. A lot of texts require me time and brain power to understand. Poor artwork. Battle and possession aren't fun. Bad to be a spirit to haunt people and fight ghosts.
Despite being a bit broken the game is still fun to play. It has an interesting array of units to recruit and upgrade with a balancing act between unlocking new units and adding them to your pool. Here are my gripes with the game: 1. Everything moves very slow 2. Once you've moved past a unit there seems to be no way to recycle them, so I'm guessing there's no point to their existence unless something happens late in the game that I haven't gotten to that uses outclassed units 3. Essence (health) regeneration is broken. I've tested it pretty thoroughly and the graphics show it being applied at the beginning of each round but it simply doesn't update the units essence. You can apply direct healing but healing over time seems to simply not have been implemented. This feels like a pretty massive over-site and makes some units that should be pretty strong much less usable. 4. (Minor spoiler though I'll try to word it vaguely) About half way through the game a major reset happens. Since you were never warned it was coming it can really wreck your plans if you were saving up for something. I restarted the whole campaign because it turned out I had to waste a bunch with my original configuration
Nice Myth Story
Before I played Spirit of Europe - Origins, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
IT'S A VERY NICE GAME!! I DEFINATELLY RECOMMENDED IT!!
I liked the proposal of the game, it has some similarities with turn-based rpgs, but it is quite unique. With a good story and several missions.
