Spider Fox

Cute & funny, very weird but really cool.

This game is good for anyone who wants a break from work. It is a collectathon type of game where you shoot webs and save (collect) mutated animals. Though the main character (fox and spider hybrid) looks kind of weird and off-putting initially, you do get used to it and you will focus more on exploring the vast worlds instead. Cool web mechanics too and not a difficult game. However, you do need some basic platform skills as you swing your web from one platform to another.

Randomly browsing for cute little "in betweeen" games from my daily dose of Helldivers 2 and ATS and found this hidden fun game and before you know it, 100% achievements were on the horizon. Combat is tight with good aiming mechanism even on controllers, has good movement on foot but climbing could be better as it is currently too sensitive in certain spots on the climbable webs, leading to accidental falls. Spidey swing and sling can be jank but you don't need to do a lot of that within the story mode, only for the swing and sling mini-game (completely optional and unrelated to any achievements/100% completion). Graphics are nice (played on 2K max to epic on everything) but certain areas do suffer from area load-in micro-stutters (I suspect this game was made on UE based on the "epic" wording in the graphics settings). Overall, this wholesome game is perfect for kids and for people who want extra little achievees on their list!

En toute honnêteté, j'ai adoré ce jeu, c'est vraiment une masterclass, je n'en suis qu'au début et je suis déjà en amour avec ce petit renard-araignée, il a une joie de vivre incommensurable, ses petits bruits tout aussi mignon les uns que les autres me procurent un plaisir inouï. C'est un jeu sensationnel, je ne regrette en aucun cas les 8€, je n'ai jamais autant été en extase devant un jeu, il est juste grandiose, il mérite d’être top1 du prochain game awards. J’espère de tout cœur qu'il y aura un 2eme spider fox car j'en suis totalement folle.

Got this game as a gift and played it in my stream. After I saw what it was about I wasn't expecting much to be honest but then it was surprisingly fun and (for what it is) really well made. The people on the chat had their share of fun too and even asked me to play it more. So yeah. If you like a cozy, simple game with a bit of hidden object and platformer mechanics, mixed with a cute protagonist (the spiderfox ;) ) who swings around like spiderman "Spider Fox" maybe is worth a look :)

Was a really fun game, played it for my stream and my chat loved it! Very impressive, rlly fun and loved the story wish i could seduce the mad scientist tho frfr ending was strange where scientist asked to be our pet All in all, great game!!!
