Spellbound Hearts

A short, but well-written and fully voiced Visual Novel! Even though it won't take more than an hour to see all the game has to offer, it establishes the characters quite nicely and tells a good story; however, regardless of the choices you make, the story is linear and reaches the same conclusion. Lycos and Zephyros' relationship also moved a bit too fast into romantic territory in my opinion, it could use more time to develop. Also, Cute Wizard and Hot Vampire Boy, that's reason enough for some people to buy this game! But don't expect to see anything lewd here, just cuteness with a sprinkle of sexual tension. Overall, a good game! I wouldn't mind seeing more of this duo and the world they live in.

A very lovely/cute game which will take you under 30 minutes to read. Unless you stare at images and savor the words... Although there isn't enough time to develop... EVERYTHING... The characters are rather sweet and the choices wont drive you insane. After a few introductory words, you get to see a certain someone's image. From then on... You keep sneaking peeks at him and amidst all the other thoughts... You wonder as to how the hell his pants stay on. I read this on a different website, but it stuck with me so I read it again. If there would be more content/continuation... I would so read it. Otherwise... Works for me! Thank ya! :D =) :>

That was so cute! I love both Lycos and Zephyros! I'm so glad they got their happy ending! I wish there were more, though hehe. A cute BL VN about a wizard and a vampire. There are choices, but the plot is linear... I think? It's a short (around 15 minutes). I guess the story does leave me with some questions, but still an enjoyable read nonetheless. Also, this game is voiced and the voice actors are doing a great job! If you like VN (specifically BL) and want a short one to pass the time, you can give this game a try.

Серьезно... "офигеть какая любовь" между магом и вампиром возникает очень стремительно. Ваши выборы ни на что не влияют, так как игра линейна и концовка одна. Даже если вы будите выбирать очевидно неудачные выборы, которые должны привести к плохой концовке, то игра пошлет вас, проигнорирует всё и выйдет на хорошую концовку. Арты обычные, у персонажей только иногда меняется выражение лица, кат-сцена одна. Есть озвучка, она хорошая. Если читать не думая и выбирать только положительные выборы, то игра милая.

Spellbound Hearts is a short BL visual novel about a vampire cursed to be trapped in a castle and the wizard who's come to seek his aid. Storywise, the game is so short that there's not much to it, it's fun to read but it's not especially groundbreaking. The art is good, but there's not much variety in what you see on screen (sprites rarely move; there's only 1 CG and it's spoiled on the store page and the library cover). My biggest complaint is that there's only one ending; normally I wouldn't care much about how many endings there are, but here [spoiler]there are a bunch of choices that [i]seem like[/i] they should lead you to a bad ending if you pick them all, but they don't, so if you pick those choices then the story takes a sudden swerve partway through.[/spoiler] The best part of the game by far is the voice acting. Both of the main characters are fully voiced, and both VAs do a really good job at it. They elevate the experience a lot, especially considering how low the price for this game is. For the price, I recommend it if you want a short BL visual novel. It is fairly linear even with the choices which end up in the same result with just different dialogue. It is a plot similar to Beauty and the Beast in which you play as the vampire guy trapped in a castle for eternity by his wizard ex. A descendant of said ex comes to you for help in making a cure for a plague killing the local village, Slowly they warm up to each other and yada yada yada, you can guess the rest. Yeah that's it, see ya.

It's a cute VN, even if it's a bit short (20-30 minutes). The voice acting is amazing and honestly makes it worth the price for such a short game.

It's short and it leaves you wanting more of them. It lasts barely 30 minutes. But it's really enjoyable.

Short and pretty fun gaming experience! I really liked the voice acting, as it gave the appropriate depth to the whole writing and dialogues. I totally recommend it to Visual Novel fans.
