Speedrun Academie

This review is made during the very first version of the game, some points might change along the way : Here are a quick pros and cons I found about the game Pros - The presentation is simple, easy to approach and offer your typical platforming with a little twist called the perfect jump. Which basically force you to jump at the very last moment to gain momentum. While going perfect seems interesting.... it is not always the best option which will force you to explore the maps properly and study your options. - Talking about the maps ; Those look great. Simple yet establish and atmosphere quickly. and each platforming section fits the theme of the map. - the HUD is simple yet effective. Showing your speed, your time on leaderboard, if you're doing better or worse etc. while not being invasive by any mean. Cons - Oddly enough, you cannot change the settings on the main menu? You have to start a game, press escape and then you get access to the menu. (or press start while in game) Nothing bad per say... just odd. - No information bubble in the menu ; What are those "cheats" i can enable? What is a HUD wobble exactly? I don't see any difference activing those. - There is no keybind for a quick reset, it's escape then reset. Why can't I speedrun reset? :O Overall, it's a great experience, you get what you expect ; A platformer that ask perfection out of you to the best of your capacity. There is no context or anything this game is purely made for people who wants to compete with others regarding their time. It's worth noting that there is also a lot of secret path, which will help feed your hunger for secrets if you prefer exploring a stage in depth! There seems to be more things incomming? There is that little "Gâteau Ah! Caramel de vachon™" During the greece stage that stands there and you can collect for apparently no reason. Maybe new condition to progress to a more advance zone? Could be interesting! There are still some little things to fix (Like the tutorial box showing text THEN the file name that was just shown XD) or even some blocks that don't have collision (Some are out of the way a little but still, some people might expect to use it for X reason in the future!) but yeah, besides that, solid little platformer that will DEFINITELY help you becomes better at platforming in your everyday gamer life! Overall note for the current state : 9/10

A bit tricky to get at first until you figure out when to perfect jump and when not to. Very addictive once you get into it though. Also there's a few secrets to find if you decide to take your time.

Jeux très amusant! le jeu donne pas mal de l'idée c'est quoi du speedrun en géneral, c'est aussi un jeu qui apprend de comment le speedrun fonction de même comme loisir de jeux video. très éducatif et recommandé pour les gens qui cherche a vouloir apprendre le challenge du speedrun.

bon jeu bon prix , sa prend juste plus de niveaux et s.v.p. une feature pour pouvoir voir notre pb par section dans nos autre run ( sa éviterais livesplit et sa serais sympathique )

Fun little game to try to speedrun. It's surprinsingly addicting trying to beat the level as fast as possible. You get your moneys worh

간단한 조작과 스피드런 컨셉의 게임답게 빠른 속도가 좋다. 다만 아쉬운 점이 있다면, 이동 경로가 명확하게 나오지 않아서 RPG 게임마냥 길을 찾아야 한다. 실제로 용암 맵 중후반부에서 길을 꽤나 헤맸다. 중간에 표지판 같은 걸로 간단하게 표시하면 좋을 것 같다. 그리고 가끔씩, 달리는 도중에 0.2초 정도 끊기는 현상이 보인다. 이 현상 때문에 용암 및 얼음에서 떨어진 적이 자주 있었다. 이 정도만 고치면 좋을 것 같다. 현재 시점에서 플레이타임은 그리 길지는 않지만, 다음 맵과 새로운 기믹들을 개발하면 더욱 풍성한 게임이 될 것 같다. 아직 얼리엑세스니까 기대중
