Well this game fell a little short for me. It looks very promising but that is about it. The volume is wayyyy to high even at 20 percent. The controls are very sensitive. The "hit" boxes for the care are very big and the car crashes very easily even though there is space. This is" free to play," but is very heavily dependent on you buying the DLC's to do anything. Speedpunk is a free "fly through the checkpoints" racing game where you fly a hovercar through various courses trying to get the lowest time possible. The quality is fairly poor, the car handling is a little painful. Controls are locked and can't be changed, but you can at least tweak the graphics a bit. It's not completely free either as there's about $10 worth of DLC which is not really worth getting. It's great that this is mostly free, but it's fairly mediocre and not a lot of fun. It's hard to justify the time spent downloading this is worth the very small amount of "fun" anyone might get from it.
Before I played Speedpunk, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
Overall the concept was pretty cool! But the handling on the car was kinda difficult to get used to. As well as it being a relatively short game, could complete in under half an hour or so. Also the music was extremely loud and unbearable!!
I love flying car style race games. I enjoyed for a few minutes flying through glowing rings, but please add more drag racing maps, definitely felt like a odd drift racing game that did get repetitive after awhile. I didn't like how all the rings for the course is shown, and no coloring difference to know the next ring in the course that led to me confused constantly... I also didn't like there isn't a setting to turn off the car effects when you lose, it turns into a real eyesore...I'd recommend if improvements are made.
