Unit 03 is a sheltered, but bubbly, robot girl with a penchant for breaking the rules. After getting a tiny taste of the outside, she's become all the more desperate to break free of the cage she was born in. But so long as her body continues to malfunction, will that ever be more than a fantasy?

About
Episode 2 of the kinetic visual novel series, "Spare Parts."
After a bizarre first week at her new job, Lucy's finally ready to start settling into a routine. But with no more merchandise to sell, and without another plan for the business, the future seems uncertain. And a lack of imagination isn't the only thing halting progress.
As Unit 03 is given a tiny bit more freedom, Unit 01 struggles to process all kinds of new thoughts, and Lucy has to find some way to navigate the complicated relationship between the two. Not to mention the increasingly-obvious fact that Unit 02 hates her guts. As more and more complications reveal themselves, Lucy slowly begins to wonder whether she'll be able to see her promise through...or if running away is the right thing to do.
The continuation of a story about the ways we are programmed to feel, and the risks we take when sharing our heart with another.

Reviews
i usually don't give reviews on steam but this is straight up my favourite game ever. my roman empire if you will. i adore these characters and the writing and the way i've literally lost sleep thinking about it. i love android characters for a reason and this game nails it right on the head. i will be splurging when part 3 comes out
it good In all seriousness, characters are very fun and the plot setup is real compelling. Finished both this and the first episode in a single night and my only regret is not pacing myself so i could enjoy it for the first time over a span longer than a few hours. I'd highly recommend checking it out! If you're on the fence, Episode 1 is free on itch.io so you can dip your toes in without paying. That's certainly part of how I got hooked.
Such an amazing story - there's so much heart in all of this! And such an authentic telling of a trans woman's perspective, it's spoken to me like no other story has. Please, please play this (but play episode 1 first, of course!) also I'm gay for 01
Much longer than episode 1, and incredibly lovely! Extremely wonderful story and I cannot wait to see the next episode!
Not really much for visual novels, I only ever really touched, like... Ace Attorney. And that's it. Not usually my genre. I love this. Heartfelt, well-written and an emotional rollercoaster that knotted my guts up for a weekend. The characters are so unique and diverse but their qualities all serve the plot and nothing feels "hamfisted", as the gamers like to say. It's also very funny when it wants to. Very personal and bittersweet... I'm excited to see where this goes from here. My fourth perfect achievements game on Steam once I figured out Feet.
Just as good, if not better than episode 1. Criminally underrated kinetic novel series
gay women in emotional distress the sequel
genuinely, i absolutely love this game it is so. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. good and great for those that love robots!! :D
episode 2 is such a great follow up to the first part of spare parts, it feels like you're really getting into the thick of it, and it's so worth it.. there are rough parts, and relatable issues, and awkward situations i cringed at out of sympathy, but it's worth it for the trans robot yuri ^^
An excellent follow-up to the first episode that further explores 03 as a character. If you're one of those nerds that complain about playtime, this is much longer than the first episode.
