Warning: AI Slop This game is partially or completely made with talentless, soulless AI generated content.
Space Memory: Predators is a construction kit game. The Russian "developer" (Cute Hannah/Green Goose/Quantum Quiver/etc etc... he uses a lot of fake accounts to hide his identity) used the mediocre ClickTeam Fusion video game construction kit, filling out input forms/using premade level design tools. Basically an "asset flip", but with AI slop generated images instead of assets stolen from someone else... this is WORSE than asset flipping. This isn't a sincerely made game, it was slapped together quickly as a minimum viable product... a hopeless cash grab made for one reason: To generate Steam Keys in bulk for crap random game bundles, just to get a few roubles for polluting Steam with trash. A strong argument can be made that construction kits like ClickTeam Fusion should never be used to make games for profit, as the "developer", Green Goose Corporation has done here. These construction kits are intended to teach people some of the basic principles of game development, and to make small demos to pass around with friends. They're not intended to replace to actual work of real, professional game developers. So it's inappropriate when amateurs try to use these for profit, without any actual, real game development effort taking place. This doesn't result in products that have any real meaningful value for gamers. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. For gameplay purposes, because the user interface for this game is mostly just 2D static AI Slop images... it might as well be a web page. It's functionally no different from a browser game. And we all know, Steam isn't here to compete with Chrome and Firefox. If the game can be done in a web browser, it's just not rich or compelling enough to appeal to serious gamers on PC. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. As mentioned, this features really godawful, "wrong" looking AI slop instead of genuinely and sincerely created game assets. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating real game assets or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks bad because of that decision. AI slop sticks out like a sore thumb... and it comes across as insulting. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too, and that's glaringly obvious here. The controls can't be customised because the game has such a dumbed down, simplified interface that it's just point and click stuff like a browser/Flash game. The fact that the interface is this dumbed down might be seen as a problem in itself, however... this is a fairly shallow experience if you're the kind of gamer that likes to play games with deep, rich control schemes and interaction. You'll get none of that here. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 5 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 130,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. So, should you buy this AI slop garbage? Is this one of the best of the 120,000+ games on Steam? Space Memory: Predators is relatively cheap at $2 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend. This is also competing with over 14,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product.
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.
boring and extremely repetitive with zero options for a black background and no rotating pretty bright colors don't waste money on this shovelware ,they made soo many of these it's unreal
I do not recommend

It's a generic memory matching game, this time featuring predators. It's mediocre at best, and just not worth money in my opinion. It's more like something I'd play on a website as a flash game to waste time. It's just a memory game featuring images of predators in a science fiction artstyle, which are very likely created using AI. There are 50 levels with increasing difficulty where you match all pairs of the same cards without making too many mistakes. To some people, this game can be relaxing, I guess. Something that bothered me that doesn't have to do with the game itself is the menu. I'm pretty sure that menu items shouldn't be moving that much. I mean, it's cute that they do, but not exactly user-friendly. These are just a few nitpicks though. As for the possible, even likely use of AI, I don't mind AI being used in such ways, but things created by generative AI should NEVER be sold for money, as no effort has been put in to create them. In my opinion, AI generated images make this game even more worthless than it already is (given the game's generic and flash game-y nature), because nothing stops you from using the same memory matching game template and generate 50 or so different images of whatever you want yourself. Overall, there really isn't as much to tell about the game itself as there is about issues around the game. It's just one of many template flips with different pictures, probably using AI as well. This would be fine if, and only if they were free. It's just not worth paying money for basically a flash game that probably mostly consists of AI generated content.
