if you're looking for the 2000s 2D sidescroller MMORPG experience in 2026, then this is the game for you. this scratches the pre-big bang MapleStory and LaTale itch, but offers you even more freedom with a classless skill system, giving it a dash of an ARPG / PoE-like feel as well. the world is full of mystery and intrigue, as well as whimsical and unique NPCs-- the art and music here are so masterfully crafted for such a small team (2 people!!!) that i still can't believe it's all free. Sage and Rajah have done a wonderful job building such an impressive game for just two people behind it. what makes this game unlike any modern game out there now is that they are actively receptive and willing to listen to feedback from all of their players. i've never seen any dev team implement patches and bug fixes as soon as they do-- which i feel like is a dwindling rarity in gaming nowadays. i've had over 150+ hours of play testing this game, after finding out about this gem this April-- and my only regret about this game is that i didn't find out about it earlier. i'm still finding new things to discover, and i'm excitedly looking forward to even more. if you're an MMORPG veteran or just a curious, casual gamer who wants a taste of the 2D sidescroller genre, i cannot recommend this game enough.

Crafting is fun, pve is fun. Lots of stuff to discover. Most negative reviews are because of skill issue...

Amazing pixel-art designs, fast and fun game mechanics, very much a choose-your-style character journey with a deeply customizable skill system. Farming mons and looting is great, 5 hours in and loving it!
