**TLDR - Don't waste your time and or money with this rmt, bot infested trash heap. Go play maple classic.
Neat little game, can be fun just beating the hell out of mobs and doing the three Ds all over the screen.
Positives:
- Fresh
- can be fun little grind
- multiple build possibilities
Negatives:
- Bots are everywhere, RMTs in every map (Dev team is aware but painfully slow at reacting to the afk/botting situation)
- Rules about botting etc... are rarely enforced. Report system is just for show, Real players get punished, actual botters and rmters do not, those who rmt'd and botted early got away scott-free.
- Asian plague (^relating to point above)
- Map size per player is VERY tight.
- Channels are over run with people per map in 30+ areas causing any grinding to stall heavily.
- Only way to have a "clone map" to yourself is a very rare item which either costs alot or rarely drops (no cash shop solution either)
- ** Poll failed 4 days ago about the "State of botting/rmt" with which they were going to curb rmt by allowing cash shop items to be sold on AH (like other fremium games would do), poll results were 75% in favour. THEY Pulled out and said "We are going to keep the state of the game as is". Letting the botting and rmt go on with no attempt to do ANYTHING.
-** Class Balance sucks, all magic and faith hybrids are OP and not nerfed or tuned. Ninja gets slapped hard. Dev team is clueless about Balancing.
- Party loot/exp is based on damage dealt not proximity to kill or group size.
- Solo play is actively encouraging. So some fat neckbeard op high level can come in and camp your kills/loot, mobtagging doesn't matter in this game, if you're first but lack the dps/gear, you are last and or lose out/can get sniped out of loot and a kill, THANKS DEVs!.
