Sonic Rumble Party

absolute disgrace of a sonic game lol. if you've ever played fall guys or stumble guys, it's essentially that but with sonic characters and maps slapped on top of it. the gameplay consists of little minigames that seem fun for about 10 minutes, but inevitably become boring because it's the same loop over and over. race to the finish, collect rings, survive and don't get eliminated. that's the entire game. they just used the sonic IP to grab everyone's attention. it's on steam but it's also a mobile game, so that should let you know what you're getting into. battle passes, poor UI, cosmetics being pushed on you and popping up after every match, etc. the game is also extremely pay to win, but are we really surprised? there are "skills" in the game which are little abilities you can equip on your character to give yourself an unfair advantage. for example, maybe you'll receive a double jump or like an air dash that all stuns all other players around you. if you've ever played stumble guys, you know exactly what i'm talking about. the issue is not that they exist, it's how you obtain them. you have to either pay or grind for hours because progression is horrible in the game. you have to play for an entire day to receive even a crumb of currency in HOPES that you can afford an OP skill. it's absurd. the ranked system is abysmal. it's not at all a display of who the better player is. it's a display of who wastes more time on the game or spent more money. how it should be, is that your highest score from each map is calculated and added into a total combined score. sega decided to make it so that the longer you play, the higher your score will just keep stacking. it's also calculated by how many skins and sidekicks you have unlocked and leveled up (pay to win). you can be the best player in the world, but if you only have an hour to play, little timmy will always outperform you. i cannot even begin to comprehend how such a respectable company can make such horrid decisions. especially with how long the game has been released. i can go on and on forever about how horrible this game is, but i've ranted long enough. if you have an autistic stimming child who mindlessly slaps buttons, this game is perfect for them. if you are a functional contributing human to society, please spend your time elsewhere.

Fun game! It's basiclly Fall Guys but sonics version.

devs don't care and don't listen to the community. lack of updates (shadow skins and one event per month is not content). fomo.

I downloaded this game so my son who is obsessed with Sonic could play it. After a couple of games I started paying attention to the names of the players. One of them was named "Reipist" (Rapist) the fact that there are grown men who like sonic and decide its funny to make their names this in a childrens party game disgusts me. I cannot believe this game is still on this platform.
