Probably one of the best racing games out there. My favorite along side MK8. Super fast, adrenaline packed races with lots of crazy turns unlike MK World which was too open and linear. The 2nd lap is always a fresh new course so even the same Cup will be different when played again. Also car customization is great. The only complaint is that any extra DLC characters do not have voice lines. They might just make a noise sometimes. This kind of kills immersion and makes them less fun because the main Sonic character have a lot of great lines and they talk to each other within in the race. Over best Sonic racing game and a truly fun time.

The game is solid but something about the game feel is just off. It is definitely missing the polish of Mario Kart or Crash Team Racing but it makes up for it in having tons of content and new content added regularly that celebrates Sonic (and SEGAs) awesome history. I do really hate the collabs with characters like Spongebob and such but you can easily ignore them as they are paid separately. Characters like Ai-Ai and Nights being here are a true treat, as well the roster from Sonic Riders and their hoverboards. If you love Sonic, but this on sale. I dont think its worth $70 but for $35 it is a no-brainer.

I have over 400 hours on Sonic Racing Transformed, this one is nowhere near as good. I'm bored after less than 2 hours, save yourself some money and play Transformed again. I got this for £20 and still feel like I overpaid, 4/10

As a lifelong Mario Kart fan, this game is perfect. As a lifelong Sonic fan, this game is also perfect. The tracks are really awesome, the items feel really balanced, and the Crossworlds mechanic is a huge step above driving on a boring highway like in Mario Kart World. The soundtrack is really good and the racing feels so right. It's a very polished game I might like this more than Mario Kart 8 if I'm being honest. It feels a little more balanced, like the items are there of course but it takes a little more than just getting a good item to dethrone 1st place. This game is great though, I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a high quality Marty Kart type game.
