A nigh perfect racing game! It is loads of fun and there is always something to shoot for and work on. A satisfying racing experience with a great balance of skill and luck with the items. Excellent pacing for the races and so addicting to play. Nails that SEGA and Sonic spirit.

its crazy fun, esp if you like mario kart (coming from sm1's who's primarily played games from mario kart ds up to 8 deluxe) though it has its own cool features that you wouldnt find othewise. the vehicle customizations rad, air tricks are a lot funner (and viable), and i enjoy being able to switch directions without breaking my drift. just dont buy this full price. yeah, theres a lot to do, but i still feel $70 is crazy overboard. i got lucky and grabbed it on sale

I bought this for half price and it is SO FUN! I'm not super into Sonic, but this is a great kart racer even if you're not a Sonic fan. There are tons of car customization options and gadgets for basically any play style. Plus, if you're into crossovers, other Sega characters are available in the base game, including Mega Man, some characters from Yakuza, and Hatsune Miku. Non-Sega characters are paid DLC. I am so buying the Evangelion characters when they drop this fall.
