Songs of Syx is a fantasy city-builder with vast battles simulating thousands of citizens and soldiers. Start off as a small village and build, scheme, and fight your way towards a mighty empire. The mechanics are deep and true to life, where tiny events can spiral into the collapse of kingdoms.

peak indeed
Love it.
Like Rimworld but bigger scale and more focus on town creation, dipomacy, big scale battles and trade. I like the feeling of not having to micro manage everything in the end game but still able to. Great level of details on meaningful parts and at the same time simplifications in areas where it makes sense. For negatives the GUI can feel a bit non-intuitive at the begining with options/info nestled deep inside tabs that are not apparent they are even clickable. Also feels like many hotkeys should've been bound from the beginning which is a headache to locate in the key binding menu. The in game tutorial is also very lacking and only covers the very basics. Will update this on 1.0

First and last Steam Review - This is the perfect game if you want to spend hours obsessing about small details or..... not, it has the perfect balance for a simulation game, not too hard for first time players (I dropped Dwarf Fortress because I'm permafried and couldn't understand ♥♥♥♥) and complicated enough for many hours of playtrough, it also reminded me of Civ 6 (which I love). Anyways enough Larping this is a great game and I'm really happy to see where this is going to keep developing and evolving. Idk if I found a bug but game sound doesn't work when you use Airpods Max when playing, other audio outputs work just fine (maybe I'm just permafried)
Probably the most thought out colony sim ever.
