Songs of Syx is a fantasy city-builder with vast battles simulating thousands of citizens and soldiers. Start off as a small village and build, scheme, and fight your way towards a mighty empire. The mechanics are deep and true to life, where tiny events can spiral into the collapse of kingdoms.

Ancient esoteric Klaus Schwab simulator.
Immensely fun game that takes my favorite parts of Rimworld, Civs/Humankind, and all the medieval builder/management games. Mechanics feel familiar from those games and settlements are fun to scale. Deeper and more polished than most fully released games, so while technically "early access," I can easily see myself putting hundreds of hours into the game.
What we study in class (tutorial): Uhhhh so this is how you make a vegetable farm.. Make a farm and uhhhhh plant veggies.... What we see on the exam paper: Make a full infrastructue, production and logiscts chain for a several thousand pops city, establish a trade monopoly, conquer the world Free full demo though
I think this is the first ever real review I will ever do for a game in my 13 years of being on steam. If you like medieval times, immersion, city building, stat tracking, learning curves, in-depth game mechanics across all aspects whether it be for buildings, storage, your settlers themselves, terrain, basically all of the above.. if you like games like Rimworld, Farthest Frontier, Manor Lords, Stronghold Crusader, Knights of The Crusade, Dwarf Fortress, and any other game of the like, then this is absolutely the game for you. I put in 62 hours alone into the demo before I realized it was just one version behind the full game. I had 3 different cities, all with roughly 20 hours into each, my max pop was 2775 before raiders absolutely demolished me because I neglected my army. I cannot remember the last time I had this much fun with a game. I bought it last night and will be playing it every week for the foreseeable future. God bless this developer for everything they do.
This game is neat. You get to grow your own civilization, make your own army, and get to experience what's like to be in power and build your own city from scratch. Highly recommend!
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing mind blown. I especially appreciate the intuitive UIs, shortcuts and QoL UI design, hints and key pieces of info and organizing those into a consumable fashion, the developer has really thought it through on how feasible to make playing this dastardly deep / complex City Simulator game, the right balance of pain and pleasure. Which is not the case for Dwarf Fortress for eg, it's UI design sucks and seems more of an afterthought.
The best
