Songs of Syx

Buy this and spread the word, this is my new Factorio. If I put in 200 hours like I expect I will, I'll put in a less lazily written review.

Money is reduced by inflaction (?WTF? Do the dev know how inflactions works?) Everything degrades Technologies need different resources, all of them degrade over time and requires maintenance, to build, by building, by worker, by tools, by tech, everything. Buildings output are low, increase the output? tech? more maintenance, more workers? more food, more clothes more... requires more buildings, require more maintenance. Want a canal? it will increase your food output, but it only works with pumps, wich requires workers, and canals be built, all of them degrades, all of them requires maintenance, are you sure you want to build the canal? bring the spreadsheet and do your maths, maybe you are expending more in maintenance that the bonus you got. Can I just build a long earth canal that get water from a river? Not an option, thats free! Maintenance more degrade, more output, more degrade, more Maintenance, more... This is "Grinded" the Strategy game. Mother of grinds. Nice idea, game is amazing, until I reached the point I need to grind the fun of it. I would say game need another rework of this crazy grind system, but not sure how many reworks were done already, Can not even get help online as every new version is a rework and things work differenty. I dont know, this is a game I want to play, but when I play it, I lost interest of it, its bore me. I think it needs to learn from Dwarf Fortress, its not the same game, but mother of dwarfs!, I always enjoy my time in Dwarf Fortress, in Songs of Syx, Sometimes Im telling myself, wait for it, few hours and we would achieve it, but then, goal feels empty, everything feels temporal, I usually dont play high speed, this game feels like without it its not fun at all, I will progress nothing, with it, I feel Im running a pixel spreadsheet... with maintenance.

Эта игра потрясающий симулятор города, экономики и политики. Каждый гражданин имеет свои потребности, желания и интересы. Невероятное удовольствие мне доставляло строить и настраивать цепи производств той же одежды, оружия или инструментов. Да даже банально проектировка самого эффективного туалета это что-то с чем-то. Это я еще не говорю про расы, а расизм это неотъемлемая часть взаимоотношений между гражданами. Если у вас мульти-расовый город то вам просто необходима будет стража, тюрьмы и суд. И ЭТО ШИКАРНО!!!

I strongly dislike the reworks to law and order and cannibalism in the V71 update.

After playing the free demo for ages, I finally bought the game. Holy moly, what a game! The learning curve is a bit rough, but the depth of the mechanics and the richness of the gameplay are absolutely insane. There's so much to learn and discover. Highly recommended!

I thought it was a good game until i realized the game gets harder the better you play which makes absolutely no sense. Design it so it can be playable, at least past 1,000 pop.

Vraiment trop bien heu, on finit toujours par partir en vrille un peu plus, tard haha. En fait quand on y game on ne voit pas très bien quel autre graphisme pourrait convenir à ce jeu. Sa simplicité est vraiment très, efficace et plutôt humoristique. On finit par adorer, carrément. Graves danger d'addiction, génial.
