Something for Someone Else is a short atypical experience, a brief journey into the mind of a distressed game developer that feels haunted by a game he made. All in the form of a poorly hand drawn narrative platformer accompanied by the beautiful musics of Celluloid Jam.

I played this just for a completionist game at first, and the story caught me off guard, I assumed it was a blind run through that I would rush but as the game progressed, I started to understand without wanting to. The game captured my attention when I was unaware of what it was. This game is art, please play.

A beautifully moving little game. Would recommend to anyone who wants a small emotional experience, I hope the person who made this game is okay and that I would've loved to keep listening to their story.
It's nice to see more art games on Steam ... but its really just a rage simulator masked by a walking simulator with a story that sounds like it was written by a heartbroken 21 year old millennial. The developer is just to self-depreciating to the point that it makes him sound almost annoying, kinda ruining the emotional aspects.
It conveyed all the emotions it was supposed to!
A nice little platformer embedded is something really raw and personal. I loved the brutal honesty and the hand-drawned graphics.
This is the best 50 minutes I've ever spend beating a game in my life.

This game tells an interesting and impactful story, revealing some insight into the psychology of a heartbroken man. It may not be the prettiest game, but it's definitely worth a play through.
I don't really know how to articulate this, but despite its simplicity, difficulty, and every other valid flaw others have pointed out...this is a unique game, and a memorable one. If flaws make us human, then it made this a game. Bravo.
