game was amazing ending made me cry

I remember when this game came out but back then I had no way to play it and so I only saw the beginning on yt. Recently I've got reminded about this game and omg, it was just as good as I remembered it! I think I'm glad I haven't watched the whole playthough back then because it was so worth experiencing it firsthand.

A massive detail that most players miss in this game is within the games title, SOMA. It is shared with the drug of the same name from Aldous Huxley's Brave New World. This is a nod to the fact that I read this book in high school.

Above average horror game experience, PHENOMENAL story. The whole concept of copying a mind - and the question of whether or not a copy is truly us - has been beautifully utilized and I will remember this game forever
