Soldat

Not worth it imo. It is a ghost of a former game. The community is non-existent (10 players across 2-3 servers, which are "climb" and instagib sniper + grenade launcher, other mods are realllly never played). There was some fuk3ry with developer parting ways and working on pseudo-successor called Soldat 2 (which is now paid like $7 for absolutely no reason). The bots are a joke, I belive they are even worse than 10 years ago (yes, after more than 20 years the only thing that developer did was to make colored jetpack flames available for everyone, and maybe a few rendering improvements, that's it). Terrain glitches are the same as 10 years ago as well. The special servers ( like dedicated zombie servers with mods ) are long gone and never going to return. There supposedly exists a code for that game somewhere on github but the maintaining is questionable (from what I have heard)... So, all in all, don't - not worth your time, unless you want to treat it as a fancy "Macromedia Flash" minigame from miniclip. Then just load 15 vs 15 bots with friendly fire, and have some dumb fun with exploding pixeladed human corpses, because that is the only use for this game now.

So many memories! Cult classic but the servers are empty. Try finding friends to play together. It's like worms but without turns and it's absolute mayham!
