A pretty fun 2d shooter. It may not have the player base it once did, but it's still a very fun game.
A pretty fun 2d shooter. It may not have the playerbase it once did, but it's still a very fun game. A wide variety of weapons and weapon skins, a multitude of game modes and maps. If you're new, you can practice on offline mode, if you're more experienced, online may be a bit better. Personally I like playing against bots, it can offer a nice challenge at higher difficulties. Overall, its a very fun game about stickmen with guns, and they did it well. 10/10
Note: Dead PvP game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There's no viably populated servers/active player population. This game cannot be played as intended.
This is basically just cash grab shovelware with content locked behind DLC paywalls... a simple, badly made 2D platformer arena/shooter with "stick figure" laziness instead of real graphics. It's garbage, so it's easy to see why this bot filled mess was abandoned by gamers. "Boring Man - Online Tactical Stickman Combat" is a failed PvP game. Why is it dead? It's time for a video game autopsy! Almost every PvP exclusive game on Steam fails. Developers often assume just because they published their game, it's going to "go viral". I'm guessing this is a case of the developers making this game in complete isolation without even bothering to look at what other PvP games on Steam already offer. There's fierce competition in the PvP game arena... and I'm not referring to players fighting other players. There's thousands of PvP-only games but only a tiny handful of them are successful enough to attract and keep a wide player base. This game failed to compete and didn't get enough people to stay active. Despite being free, it did not have what it takes, it's as simple as that. First and foremost, there's no meaningful single player content. The developer gambled that other players would be an acceptable substitute for adding storytelling, level design etc to the Game. They lost that bet. Without a huge community of players or single player content to add a lasting value to the game, the game dies. Developers must learn that other players are not an acceptable substitute for adding content to a game. The game features really lacklustre 2D visuals (does the developer not know 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid-1990s?). Gamers don't spend thousands of dollars on gaming rigs and the latest 3D graphics cards to play 2D games. Even mobile phones and game consoles can do 3D graphics now. There's no excuse. You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality product, this comes across more as a delusion of grandeur than anything else. This agreement includes questionable requirements that may attempt to revoke consumer law protections that gamers expect to have, which is also highly problematic. Developers must learn they are here to serve gamers, not control them. I had my cat walk over the keyboard while the EULA was displaying, which fixed that problem for me. This game is ancient, it's over 11 years old... it's heavily dated and isn't going to give you a remotely contemporary gaming experience... another reason for gamers to be hesitant about adding this to their libraries. This was made with the godawful "GameMaker Studio" construction kit/toolset, which is popular amongst amateur developers because it handholds you through making really crap 2D games that you can publish for $100 on Steam Direct. This lets you pat yourself on the back for pretending to be a real game developer, which explains why GameMaker Studio is responsible for so much ignored garbage on Steam. GameMaker Studio has never really been used to make a truly successful game, but that doesn't stop people from trying and failing. It's a particularly bad game engine that can only be used for making low quality 2D products. Like this. You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear, as the old saying goes. Another reason this particular game wasn't successful. Now onto pricing and value. You're expected to pay up $21 USD to unlock content through DLC purchases. The game should not be considered completely unlocked until you empty your wallet for the developer. This is misleading and predatory pricing on a product falsely marketed as "free". All other issues aside (any of which would disqualify this from being worth your time), this is a game that relies on other players for it to be viable, and because there's not enough players, it's not viable. I can't recommend anyone downloads this, it's basically dead. One final note, there's so many games on Steam, it would be impossible for anyone to play all of them in one lifetime (although I am trying). As gamers, our time is important and we have the luxury of choosing between so many games... but so many of them are so badly made, often unethically through incompetence or greed, so I think it's important for gamers to help each other find the games that deserve our time. If you don't agree with my review here, prove me wrong, download this game and play it for yourself. My reviews are just intended to help gamers make informed choices, and I hope they help you, too.
AMAZING GAME
Largely dead game these days, but still an enjoyable lil 2D shooter.

oyun güzel ama yanlınlasınız oyun bok gibi :)
Its the best game on steam. What else is there to say? I've seen the highs and the lows of this game's activity. No matter how many great games I play, this one will always hold the place of #1.
