Sokoban Gianta

I really liked the game. In fact, this is a set of small independent levels. Basically, the levels are uncomplicated, and they all look a lot like a classic collection "Original" by Thinking Rabbit. That is why the game turned out to be very exciting, despite the fact that it only requires basic skills, knowledge of several basic techniques of the game. The only downside is poor control in the game. Very often, after pressing the cursor key, the game hangs for several seconds. The mouse control is so bad that it is impossible to use it.

[b]7/10[/b] Like the name says, it's a giant sokoban. Can you find your way through the maze, pushing every box in its place, without trapping yourself away from the exit? [b]What is it:[/b] A pure Sokoban game, with only the core mechanic of pushing one box at a time, but instead of having different standalone levels, it's all one giant maze, split into 36 connected screens. Each screen is almost a self-contained level though, but in some levels it's useful to actually leave the room through a tunnel and enter from another side to push a box in. Another challenge is figuring out in which order to solve each screen, since some of them will block one or more ways out of the room, so make sure there are no more boxes to solve on the other side. Just like there's a starting point where you first spawn in the game, there is a designated end which you must find. [b]How hard is it:[/b] Moderate to hard. [b]How long is it:[/b] 36 levels, quite laborious, for 6-10 hours of play. One of the levels is quite trivial, it servers more as a central hub from which other areas of the maze can be accessed, so I count this short level together with the whole giant maze as one. [b]Level design:[/b] Good enough. Most levels are non-trivial and require a bit of careful planning, but none surprised me with a clever mechanic. They're quite big and laborious, with usually between 15-30 boxes to place, and many "push each box through the mini-maze of tight corners" scenarios. The giant maze aspect isn't used to its full potential, instead of being tightly integrated in the level solutions, like having to move boxes between screens or having more dependencies in the order in which the screens are solved, the maze is more of an annoyance, with long corridors that wind around for a few screens then turn out to be a dead end. In a few levels these corridors were helpful, but I'm not entirely sure they were actually needed for the solution, perhaps there was a solution that didn't require using the tunnels as storage for a box. [b]Quality:[/b] Decent level design, good controls, no crashes, good enough for a small game. Thankfully there is an undo that can go as far back as needed, even between rooms, and even after closing and starting the game. Given that the whole game is technically one level, the reset doesn't apply to just one room, it actually resets all the way to the beginning. No cloud save, no achievements. [b]Worth the price:[/b] Maybe on a 30%+ sale. [b]Most positive aspect for me:[/b] Good classic sokoban, reminded me of the original. [b]Most negative aspect for me:[/b] No surprising levels.
