The game is scripted 100% i play a match and i lose 2-0 then i restart the game play again that game and the same things happens my players get yellow cards in exactly same minute and same moments and the goals are at the same times . trash game
Most of the time I do not review games after playing less then 8 hours. Well this is and excepction, and i let you know why below. Pros: Its free, at least to some degree. Teams and player names are licensed. Neutral: You could watch games in 3D view mode. I know some players like it, some don't. Its very simple and lacking most of advanced features of other managers, but its easy to learn. Cons: Its free to play, pay to win. Annoying microtransactions pop-ups. UI clearly shows games origin aka mobile port. And now the most important point: Game is scripted.Every single game is scripted before whistle. If you play a game and for example Mr "I kick forward" get a yellow card in 43rd minute, no matter how many times you replay this match using same tactic and rooster he always get a card 43rd minute.Always.Same goes with goals, injuries and so on and so forth. Changing rooster or tactic result in a different outcome but also always the same one. Game changes from manager to rock-paper-scissors. Do I mention auto saving? If you want to try match again you need to alt-f4 before end game whistle. Some peoples say its good for realism, and i agree but not with what I mentioned above. Now, reason why its scripted its pretty obvious, you get your manager level only by winning, not drawing or loosing.Increasing your manager level is only way to obtain premium points used to improve your facilities without paying real money. You winning more games = less chance that you pay for points ,cash injections or gold coins for insta transfer. That ladies and gentlemens is pure cash grab in most disgusting way. Conclusion: Avoid at all cost!

I'm loving SM 19 and hating it at the same time Edit: Jk mostly loving it These aspects of the game have become more realistic that are great changes: Setting up contracts Training Tactical Decision-making Realistic Match Experience Complaints: Medical Center is gone :\ Can't see the overalls of unknown players (really frustrating transfer market: i bought a 52 overall for $10 million) You need to use SM credits to make upgrades, which take forever to get Also using music from small bands in the background is amazing. Every game should do this to increase their popularity. There just needs to be more variety there's only 6 songs. I'm rating this a yes because I like seeing change to a system that was too simple and scrappy.
Save your time and money. This is just a cash sink. I tried 4 different teams in the same league and when they played each other the same thing happened to my team. It gave the opponents 2-4 free kicks and my team yellow cards. One game had 8 yellow cards and 2 reds given to me. Another game it gave the opposing team 4 free kicks in the circle. I played one team for a season came in 9th. Then played the #1 team in that league and the one i played previously won the league, i came in second. The next team, in the first 3 weeks i had 4 of my best players go down with injuries. 1 was for 6 weeks another for 4. Then 2 others were red carded over the next 2 weeks. Not 1 team played to potential even when the players were by far the better in the league. The transfers are another story in order to get a player you have to give up 130% value. But to transfer 1 out they wont go over 105% and you have to go for 3 or 4 refusals to get that much. Then every other day in the game it tells you your budget is bad and you should spend real money to bring it up. All in all this game is just horrible.
I came into this game with expectation, expecting to enjoy some good stuff and to play around with the players I like. It was not until I actually started playing the game that my joy started to diminish. I appreciate the 3D mode and other good things in the game, yet these do not cover up the blame. I was playing Barcelona. I do not expect to win every time (any team can loss), yet neither am I expecting to see wield results come out without reasoning. I set the defense setting as merely "hard" and it ended up that my team had 4 yellow cards in 45 minutes. Whether how I attempted to make changes to tactics, my team (at least there are some good players, isn't it) can't even have a shot. I play with much weaker teams than mine, doing everything right, with players happy and healthy, yet still found my team lose everytime which I cannot even figure out any possible method to correct or to improve my tactic. I found myself lose for no reason, and I can do nothing about it. I believe that it is the responsibility of the company, instead of the players, to nurture a reasonable and fair game stimulating system where I can understand why I lose or draw all the time, and I can, at least, do something about it. This scenario even prompt me to slightly evaluate the possibility of the company attempting to cheat money from the players by letting their team, whether what kind of team it is, to keep losing. However, if the strength of the squad doesn't matter, what is the purpose of strengthening it? If the result of the game is solely based on a random number stimulator, where the players and the tactics are not put into serious consideration, what is the meaning of this soccer game? I will rather roll dice on my own to determine the score I want. I guess the 3D stimulator may have some effect, yet even so, the scores matters, and the players do not expect random, unreasonable scores. Please correct me if I make any mistakes, because I will be happy hearing corrections. If I am saying what is right, then, as players, we want changes and progress, because we pay our cash into it, yet we find less utility in return.
Great game. Much better than the previous one. 3D feature is a very great addition. Music in a background is fantastic, too. But I miss Steam Achievements. It was really funny trying fulfilling them. And it was like some kind of challenge.
Good Game, no harm in having a go at it, playing it, and keeping it installed to play. As for my issue, I solved it finding the save file at the Soccer Manager Ltd file, wherein there is a file entitled SM19, in which there is the save file, thus resolving all issues I had. This is truely a great game and leave the old review for transparancy's sake, below. In short: Get it, it is free, delivers what it promisses, and I have no complaints, bar that one cannot apparently have multiple saves, but that alone is not enough to make me not recommend this game. Flawed Game? Good game, graphics and so on, but I will go straight to the issue as to why I am writing a review. Albeit the game is as great as on can expect from it being ree, and indeed, it is great, it has one, big flaw/ In brief, there is no save file location, at all, and just one save allowed, meaning that if you want to play as another team, you have to dump your current game. what is worse, is that if you share your account with your brother for instance, and he wants to play, he will have to overright your save file. Result I am not willing to spend time in this game, albeit I wish to, due to the simple fact that I can neither make a backup of the save file, or save an additional vcopy of the game, nor have at least a second save slot. Apart from this, I have nothing else to complain about, the game is great, and gives all it promises, but I cannot recommend it, but only warn people of this issue. I must say, to be impartial, taht behind a pay wall of some 2.50, there is the ability to access 5 additional saves and some other goodies, which some might see as worth it, but this still does not allow either for multiple saves per play or for save files to be found and copied either as far as I know. I will gladly turn the thumb 180 and recommend this if a solution is found, or if I am corrected, and shown access to multiple saves or the save file location, as I have nothing against the game.
If you like the SM series stick with 2018 as there you have some chance to gather enough coins to grab some famous players for your club. In SM 2019 the prices went up up to 4.5k coins! GL saving them if you do not want to pay money. And of course if your trainer levels up, you only get 5 coins to upgrade your club (2018 was 10 coins). Obviously this iteration has become a heavy cash grab! Avoid at all costs (pun intended) and stay with the 2018 version!
Great free football management game. Huge improvement on last year's game with introduction of 3D matches and player contracts.
