Boot game up, check available leagues. Every leage that's waiting to start has someone whose already claimed every top player in the world in their squad. We're talking one team that resembles the FIFA Dream Team list they release each year, in every single league by virtue of having logged in first. Turn game off. There are dozens of web based soccer manager games far superior to this by simple virtue of not letting the transfer market start untill a full league is ready, or by having the NPC clubs not give away their players, or so on and so on. If you're looking for SP, just get the latest version of Football Manager, if you're looking for MP, ♥♥♥♥ it do a google search for online soccer manager, you're sure to find something better.

NOTE: This is recommended only because it has got no better alternatives. Nothing special, just one of the remaining and dying soccer managers out there.I still play it through browser but I was surprised to find their client on Steam. Soccer Manager is arguably the best in its kind. The truth is; there is almost no competition left. The only real competitor is Online Soccer Manager (OSM), but its lack of custom game mode as well as ridiculous design, makes Soccer Manager a #1 at the moment.Other competitors are not worthy to be mentioned at all. Game has a very good and rich database, they cover large number of national competitions.Unfortunately for single player mode fans, you cannot manage teams from weaker nations, but you can if you play online mode.Online however, seems to have a big problem because people use multi accounts.Site administration bans their secondary accounts but not the primary one, which makes their efforts practically useless.Cheaters transfer players between own clubs for ridiculously low amounts of money, thus making you incompetitive. I`d say go for Online if you have a bunch of friends to play with and restrict your league to invite-only, like me and my friends did.Otherwise, don`t bother. Another issue of this game is its 2d preview. Some people reported that they don`t see any goals being scored in 2D, however once they land on statistics page after the game, they find out that a goal/goals have been scored.Devs responded saying that their 2D is broken - don`t use 2D. Their Steam client seems to be exact same as their preview in browsers - not even a single difference.Well, except one; playing on browser will give you "exceptional error" when navigating around.Don`t worry, it happens rarely.Client seems to just freeze out and you`ll have to abort it through task manager and re-open. This would get 4/10, mostly for its good design, rich and updated databases of players and clubs, as well as some club management features, but I will recommend it simply because you probably won`t find a better alternative. This kind of games is dying out completely.
i have been a big fan of manager games in football - ever since i played total club manager 2004 (which i still play), so when i saw this was on steam and free i gave it a go (i mean all i'd lose was a few minutes), nut no it is really fun love the single player mode - needs more teams and counitres added but otherwise it's great with tactics, transfers and the likes anyone who has played a manegment game in the past should try this, like i said all it costs is time and i really like it the multiplayer is sadly not played too much but again i like the idea of playing real time (2 games a week), even my mum plays this mode it's easy to play and give you a real treat to come back to a few times a week i'd give it a 8/10
Crashes alot. Only one save slot to get another you have to buy it. No FFP but spending is very limited, For example Real Madrid only starts with 25 million dollars. Only way to get alot of money without selling any of your players is to win everything and save up or through in game purchase. Transfer market is boring. A few big moves (Pogba to Bayern or Neymar to PSG) every one and a while, and no club tries to buy any of your players unless you transfer list them. Once you sign a player their contract never runs out. It is hard to develope youth players. Rivals will directly buy and sell to each other. Multiplayer is a come back one a day affair. It is best to just join a league than to form your own. Overall I had a decent time with the game. It boring after a while. I enjoyed multiplayer more than the single player. I also hate how they force you to update to Soccer Manager 2017.
This game is great but there are way to many bugs. Its impossible to make it through a season without a game ending bug. I had an issue that whenever I am in a cup final the game itself will end but the clock will not stop running, so it is impossible to end the game.
Well, actually I liked the game, but there are some points I totally disliked. First, I could not make screenshots and I can't get any achievement cards so later I found a similar one but without those flaws. Secondly, the multiplayer got me surprised as I could not figure out how it works and even though I learnt it later I still don't find it interesting. Or perhaps I got it wrong, I liked the single one and I even won some games, yeah it's not that bad.
>Be manager of Guiseley AFC >Be ranked 3rd in Football League Two >Striker is an 18 year old German transfer with an 85 overall rating >Have highest goal difference in league >Upcoming cup match next week >Defeated Leyton Orient in last cup match, currently ranked 1st in FL2 >Look at fixture >Braintree Town >Ranked last place in the league below mine >lmao walk in the park One week later... >Match day >Take a peak at opposing team roster >highest rated player is a 69 >LO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ L >Ready to 360noscope Braintree Town >Proceed to lose 5-0 10/10 would lose to worst team in the game again
If this game had cards I'd recommend it just for them, but it doesn't. So skip the game entirely.
