Another stillborn piece of friend-slop with graphics straight out of the 2000s, basically MS Paint visuals on the level of an old Flash game.

Sneaky Peeky is a multiplayer stealth game where one team plays as thieves trying to steal treasure while the other team plays as guards trying to find and catch them. It is played from a top down view and is built around sneaking, teamwork and trying to outsmart the other team. The main idea is pretty simple. As a thief, you have to move around the map and collect as much treasure as possible without getting caught. Guards have to search the area, figure out where the thieves are hiding and catch them before they can escape. The maps are procedurally generated, which is a nice feature because the layout can change between games. This means you cannot always rely on memorising the same routes and have to actually pay attention to what is happening. The gadgets are another good part of the game. Both teams can choose different gadgets to help them complete their objectives. There are also vents and throwable items that can be used to sneak around, distract people or create opportunities. Playing with friends is probably where Sneaky Peeky is at its best. The game has online multiplayer, online co op and built in voice chat, so you can actually communicate with your team and plan what you want to do. There are also more than 65 skins and 8 different gadgets, which gives you some ways to customise your character and playstyle. The game also has 32 Steam achievements. The biggest problem is the player base. Steam currently has no user reviews for the game, and the small community makes it difficult to know how active the multiplayer experience really is. Another issue is that the game is heavily focused on multiplayer. If you do not have friends to play with or cannot find other players online, there is not much here to keep you playing on your own. Overall, Sneaky Peeky has a pretty fun idea and could be a good multiplayer game with the right group of people. The different gadgets, changing maps and two completely different teams give the matches some variety, but the tiny player base is a major problem. Rating: 6.7/10
