Interesting mechanics along with beautiful graphics and visuals make this platforming adventure a treat for fans of the genre. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rGR1SAI_CfY Slinki is a hard-as-nails 2.5D action-platformer where your own prosthetic arm is the ultimate multipurpose weapon: Use it as a bladed boomerang to control the population of mutated critters, pull levers towards you to get through puzzles and zip-line across grappling surfaces. Furthermore, instead of having your weapon return to you, why not return to it instead with the power of Slinki's slingshot? All this to find out what happened to the once peaceful forest you used to live in. - Recommended!

Graphics are dark and it's difficult to see what you can jump on and what the background is. The music is bland and its just not a fun platformer at all. It's not worth buying on sale- there are much better platformers on Steam than this.
This game is fun! A few bugs here and there but fun none the less!
Slinki is a great Game! I love it. It has a bug in the linux version that TFG never found a solution for but it runs very well using Wine or PlayOnLinux. Hope to see more games from Titan Forged Games.
nie polecam jakies gówno jakich mało

If I had good original game from each of these franchises I would not even bother with the indie knockoffs but these are hard to come by legally on PC for some unfortunate reason. Unlike 8bit boy who stays rather faithful to the source material in inspiration and mechanics, slinki decides to discard the trademark speed and rolling mechanics of sonic. Replacing them by a boomerang. The mechanic is abused for every foe and every platform. Platforms are laid out in uninventive staircase patterns everywhere. You constantly feel like you are replaying the same section over and over again with the same type of level design. In the second half of the game timing sensitive sections become frustrating. The boomerang can be teleported to but the game does not using this inventively but simply as a crutch to be able to zoom all the way out and put platforms further apart. You constantly see the same porcupine and giant in breastplate foes. By midgame there is also a frog that leaps over you. Aside from the insta death pitfalls thats basically most of the foe roster right there. The audio became repetitive, just like the level design and mechanics. Became very bored and as the difficulty increased more and more frustrated. An oustanding issue is that you can throw your boomerang while jumping and still teleport to it, but if you throw it again you wont be able to teleport anymore, even if you wait quite a bit of time and are still falling to the floor. In other words the whole boomerang teleport mechanic is kind of nerfed arbitrarily to avoid having to design levels with it in mind and it makes it even less satisfying to use as sometimes you will just be denied that power.
the graphics are bad and the levels aren't that well designed but damn it's really fun to play it, if you get it cheap (like i did) it's really worth a shot, you know, for a bit of fun, being a slingshotting rabbit never gets old, it just really need an overhaul because the gameplay is fun but the game itself is not that good, hard to explain
Controller mappings don't seem to work... the keyboard was disabled or something, so I could only use the spacebar to select things. This means I had to select Portugese as a language, and the only option available to me because the controls are shot was to exit. If that's representative of the quality of the rest of the game, maybe it's good I never got a chance to play past the title screen.
