RPG Maker strikes again! Sleeping Beauty (aka Gun Blast Online... not sure why the developer installs the game into that folder) is one of hundreds of low effort retro-pixel RPG Maker asset/construction kit flips spamming the Steam catalog, made with the RPG Maker video game construction kit... in their own words, "Our easy to use tools are simple enough for a child." Like all RPG Maker "games", this is essentially a bunch of low quality/canned assets from RPG Maker coupled with a cringeworthy high school anime club fan fiction. As with all RPG Maker games, the poor quality engine displays badly in fullscreen and doesn't have full HD support or any graphics tweaking options, making this unacceptable for any dedicated modern PC gamer. The point can be made that the intention of RPG Maker is to make demos and small games to pass around friends, and shouldn't be used for "professional" game development. This is an incomplete and painfully generic JRPG with absolutely zero interest for gamers. Despite not being in Steam Early Access (where this arguably belongs), the game is missing features and is apparently incomplete. Due to the lack of meaningful progress from the developer, it's unlikely the game will be completed at all, yet the developers reprehensively have their hand out for money for an incomplete game. This is a good reason for gamers to avoid this. Gamers who want a good retro JRPG experience would be better off playing the originals, like Final Fantasy, Star Ocean or Chrono Trigger. Sleeping Beauty is relatively cheap at $2 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend.

Honestly.. why's there even a adults-only tag for this? Completed it in about 30 minutes or less wich makes it feel... short, indeed. As for the story... as a premise it's not bad, but it's too short as it is. If i had rushed it i'd most likely have gotten through it all under 20 minutes. A small tip about the last point: don't just "put the characters out there" (oh, i found a girl randomly in the forest!), tell a story. Maybe as introduction, maybe as the game advances, sort of flashbacks to how she ended there... just that alone could even double the play time, while actually telling the story (and maybe more combats or game mechanics, even. Also, why giving so many consumables and the item shops if you're going to put a fairy that heals you for 50g? That just makes the game even more short since you don't need to go back. I've literally didn't have to use a single consumable, altho used the fairy once instead of items, after the 2nd boss to recover mp mostly. (on the very last boss battle got the black hole and hero will skills, so basically made the fight without them, as a reference for what level i was) Overall as it is... I can't recommend it. Edit: after seeing other reviews and the forum, found comments about a possible 2nd ending... My guess is that it didn't get included into the game since there's just one ending scene. Now, just to answer the other reviews and comments, "Map 003" is the only ending-related map as of 9th of September, 2022.

Jogo Muito bom, mecanicas nostalgicas da pra se divertir ppor uma hora infelizmente, Graficos otimos o jogo é bem divertido, a questão é: "vale a pena comprar ?" R: so se estiver em Promoção pois em menos de 1hr vc completa ele.

Köpte spelet för 15 SKR eller 1,50 E. Det är kort, tog 33 min att spela, men det är ett kul spel, författaren säger att det finns olika slut, jag fick att jag vann striden och blev kär i flickan! Hade varit kul med lite mer story i spelet, men som sagt jag köpte spelet för 15 SKR :D Jag tror att detta är ett första spel så jag ser fram i mot nya släpp med mera detaljerat spel, Lycka till i fortsättningen ..

Honestly, just a riveting piece of media. I especially liked the rain, it worked as a sort of ASMR in the same way a jet engine is ASMR. I would personally recommend hopping in a vc and having friends voice (especially the ones that are braindead). 10/10 would go to the inn again. PS. nice MS paint skills

I was told there was sex. Interesting concept, poorly executed. There are many cringe moments but not over the top. I love the combat system, interesting skills and powers, but once you reach a certain point they become obsolete. There's some serious balancing issues. Incomplete, very short game.
