For a long time, humans fought against demons. Then a new Demon Queen emerged and put an end to the conflict. But a curse drove her insane, and now she wants to destroy the world. We have to ♥♥♥♥ her down. Slay the Demon Queen is a short adult match-3 game featuring meta-progression and three endings. Gameplay is standard : match tiles and survive the Demon Queen’s attacks. The art style is simple but nicely hand-drawn. There’s no gallery, but there is basic customization for the Demon Queen: you can change hair color and length, wing color, skin tone, bust size, and toggle glasses on or off. It's a creative way to play Match 3 games, like a Roguelite.

the game is simple yet nice, I'd love to see next games from this dev!

1. Simple gameplay. 2. Good +18 content, but it's not enough. 3. The game design is average. 4. Funny ent. 5. Overpriced. In general, it will do for one evening.

All things considered a pretty good match three game. Short but for the price worth it and has a nice little twist of balancing taking damage intentionally and healing. Starting is a bit rough and you'll certainly see the "bad" ending more than a few times but a long as you use those earnings to upgrade yourself, things will balance out pretty quickly. It could take a little longer if you either don't pick up the habits of the genre but after getting used to it, it comes pretty quickly. Some of the art is rough but in a sketch like way that, in my opinion, gives the game a little more charm. The animations are good but I was so focused on the game I barely noticed them but when I did look over it was pretty smooth. Would be great on deck for a short game to pass time.

A short game, but one that does things efficiently. There is strategy required with the matching, as only going for the ones that offer the slaying will end the match quickly as not only do you have to worry about the Demon Queen taking your health, you'll also lose some after your slaying.

Wish there was more to it

Remember playing a demo of this game a while back and totally forgot about it. I'm happy steam summer sale shoved it in my face cause I didn't know it was finished. It's a really cute game. I've always enjoyed Azurezero's artstyle. Simple match-3 games. Feels a little tough at first but once you get the ball rolling with a few upgrades you'll be fine. You even get to unlock a little bit of customization. So far the only issue is that there doesn't seem to be a gallery type function. Otherwise, I appreciate the fun little game.
