Neither pro-ukr or pro-rus, gonna give an honest review from someone who lives almost 13k km from the real thing and also someone who loves military games and saw potential on this:
This game is pure propaganda slop, being totally honest with it and call me a Putin lover if you want, idc, tbh ♥♥♥♥ both. Most good reviews you see are political reviews that don't talk about the game per se and just use this game to show a stance on the conflict.
This game, a kind of tower defense game in first person, has a good idea, but can't shake out the feeling it's purpose wasn't to make an entertaining game, but to give a political message.
When I played it, I struggled to follow the rhythm of the game, took me a time to figure out how to play it properly and even then I got bored quickly.
The graphics are expected of an indie game, but doesn't do anything to mitigate the propaganda smell this gives.
The whole game gives poorly and quickly done vibes, it doesn't feel like a game that was made with love and for the purpose of entertaining, and that's what puts me off the most.
Only good thing is that it's free-to-play (ofc as a political tool to propagate as quickly as possible, and because no one would give a penny for a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ sloppy political agenda game), and it should stay like that.
Things would be different if it were the other team? No, it would still be a piece of propaganda. Would it be different if it let you play both sides? Maybe, but that would only remove the "propaganda" tag from the game, but the core issue of the game being sloppy would still be there
Don't waste your time on this, or do, idc. One thing for sure is I won't ever play it again, unless a miracle happens and it turns into a good game
