Great Game

this is an amazing game for play during halloween it have this lovely gentle bros touch is very arcadeish too

As much as I wanna recommend this game to anyone who wanna get it I dont think I could due to its clunky control and imbalance difficulty. Even at the first half of the game I realised its quite difficult and get prepare to die frequently as u will be. If only if we have an option to change the maneuver of the character to keyboard control with a dash option it would be so much better. But yeah such an underrated gem that ruined by the control of the game. :/

Simple yet addicting with tons of levels and equipment. The cultural references are strong with this one.

I remember playing this game when I would take my ex to school on the bus every morning I would wake up with her and I would make sure she got to school on time. we were 2 years apart when we met at the time and she was in her senior year. I was in my first semester of college. this game brings back so much good memories of struggling and yeah. this is one of my favorite games. I was sad they took it off the play store.

A cute slasher type game. Would have been perfect on a 3DS system.

I played the mobile version of Slashy Hero when I was a kid and became nostalgic for it recently. I couldn't find it because I was looking for the mobile version, which was taken off app stores, but I am glad I found it on Steam. This game is overall a fun little experience, drawing lines through enemies and collecting candy feels good! I recommend using a mouse though I will admit, this mechanic felt a lot more intuitive on mobile using your finger. The only problem I've had is at the end of the game, it gets a bit grindy and tedious, especially for a completionist. The puzzle mechanics that are introduced in the latter portion have great potential and I would've liked to see them be utilized more. The final boss too wasn't that exciting, reusing previous bosses and not a lot of new things happening which left the ending a bit unsatisfying. Not a bad game for a 10 hour experience. If you like games like Cat Quest, you might enjoy Slashy Hero as a lot of people did! My enjoyment with this game comes from a place of nostalgia so my gripes might be biased, though I tried to keep my criticism fair.

Wont play in fullscreen when u change display in setting game freezes and wont start again when you click on fullscreen on in settings game plays in top left of screen in window mode without the borders then have to delete half game files and re verify files then game will start again
