Haven't been able to launch the game without crashing my entire PC into hard reset since the end of last year you guys are more in the closet than me imagine in the big 26 being in the closet yikes
The map is interesting, quite vertical, but doesn't have the variety that 3's had. Too much concrete and wooden ramps. The vibe is your typical modern slop clearly made by people that don't understand the first thing about what made skate culture interesting. Progression is... okay I guess, I don't like cosmetics being random and having to farm for days to get them all. Whoever thought to put daily quests/BP/EXP timegating mechanics in this needs to be blacklisted from the industry forever. I could excuse all the bad, however : The mechanics are simply not tight enough. The shift to fully physics based is great for tiktok heeheehaha moments and casual freeroam, but is absolutely horrid for the challenges that require precise tricks and technical lines. There's a lot of jank regarding objective completion, collisions and jump trajectory. Inconsistent is what describes it best. The trick priority is some utter nonsense and the new bail mechanics shouldn't be mixed with trick challenges. It's still free (but bloated with micros) and regularly updated, but I can't even justify it as a chillout game.

predatory montezation for little content, would've ben betrter as a paid experience
Instead of making (or porting) an actual skate game we get an Ai assisstant, actual legendary skaters forced to use fake names, a system that wants to nickel and dime you at every turn with "Skate. Pass" with a battlepass for a early access game. Nevermind that the game, while looking like wet playdough, is so horribly optimized you get a full loading screen when unpausing the game or returning to a session marker a mere 2 meters away. The game looks like a failed Sims 4 dlc transfered into a Skate game yet runs, loads, and controls like ♥♥♥♥. Floaty controls, and an input register system that is somehow worse than the Xbox Kinect. Try doing an Impossible that doesnt register and ends up as a pop shuvit 360. Or trying doing a modified grab to end up with your character looking like a nonce when caught. Nevermind the game requires paid access (or a hefty sum of ingame money that isnt easily reaquired without spending your hard earned real cash) for an stadium interior the size of a pool table (the only area where the loading screens arent present and returnng is instant) or the actual tutorial area where you begin the game. Somehow, with every update, the chance of getting a "Loading Screen Of Death" compounds upon itself.
Its really fun but you do have to have a controller i did not no that so i had to buy one but yeah its fun and recomend the non classic if you are new, i said non classic because i dont remember the other option
muy buen juego
