About
The general gameplay of SLCSDO (Silly Linguine Cat Simulator Deluxe Online) is that you have to pet Silly Linguine Cat, you will have pet goals, when you get to that amount of pets, you will get a random crate (gambling!!!!). These crates can be opened to reward you with skins for Linguine Cat! However, If gambling isn't your thing, then lucky for you we have one other core gameplay mechanic, the leaderboard!!! The leaderboard will show who has pet silly linguine the most! (We have implemented a top-of-the-line anti cheat system, so don't even think about it.) Ok so that's pretty much everything, crates, pet cat, leaderboard, yep that's everything. oh actually we also have music, that's kinda a gameplay feature. yea.
Silly Linguine Cat Simulator Deluxe Online has over 350 skins to collect!

Let me break it down!
Silly = he is very silly
Linguine = I call him that somtimes
Cat = he is a cat
Simulator = gameplay is extremely realistic, it’s hard to tell it apart from real life
Deluxe = idk this is the only version of the game, so it doesn't make too much sense, but its really just to make the title sound even cooler
Online = game has one singular online leaderboard :)

If you're thinking about playing this game and / or buying the DLC, I recommend you finish reading this review before purchasing anything!
Positives

With most things in life, I like to start with the good side of things, so I'm choosing to start with the good side of things. The game has a really simple gameplay loop for most experienced gamers, however I would not recommend introducing someone to this game if they haven't played cookie clicker before. The skins are simple photoshopped images of Linguine (the cat), but most differ enough to differentiate them from another. The battle mode is practically another game entirely, introducing a simple concept and turns it into an automated, turn-based battle system where (almost) every statistic counts. (I'll talk more about it's complexities later.) The best part of it is most definitely the story mode. The story mode has a simple to follow story and simple, yet silly dialogue along the way. The casino (A.K.A. "Gambling Games") section is another part where the game shines through, as each game is distinctly different in it's gameplay and earnings. Half of the game's catalogue are traditional casino games, like "Linguine Plinko" or "Linguine Race" (Horse Racing), and the other half are unique games, like "Linguine Mines" (Minesweeper), and "Coin Flip Streak" (Guessing the face of the coin). Each game is equally as risky, while some have little to no reward.
Negitives

For every good thing about Silly Linguine Cat Simulator Deluxe Online, there is at least one bad thing to say about it. While the game hosts many ways to progress, there's no exact goal to follow, which can leave many players stuck in a cycle of boredom or desperation. Sure, you can try to 100% the game, but nobody really wants to waste hours of their life waiting for more opportunities to gamble their sanity away. Speaking of gambling, the game has extremely heavy roots in gambling and RNG, to the point of being downright nonsensical. Due to this, it can make earning money like a sluggish chore. If you were to remove all instances of RNG, the game would have no content to it, and no form of making money. I also wouldn't recommend this game to anyone under the age of 18 or those who suffer/suffered from gambling addictions, because it could unintentionally encourage actual gambling. While the game does it's best to prevent such things, like using fake currency or anti-gambling material, it actively counteracts this via encouraging you to gamble for skins via crates.

I also dislike the benefits that the Supporter Bundle comes with, however this is more of a pet peeve of mine. While I think it's more then reasonable for developers of a free game to want to make money on their prized possession, I also think that any benefits from said purchase should be negligible or cosmetic only. Especially when your game has a leaderboard and achievements. Getting the "100 skins" and "Beat Story Mode episode..." achievements are going to be a million times easier for people with the Supporter Bundle because they can get more skins for way cheaper. If it wasn't for the story mode being such an important way to earn resources for unlucky free-to-play players who barely break even in the casino (like me), or online section of battle mode having ranked battles, I probably wouldn't care as much.

The battle system is by far the hardest to understand. Most status effects either have confusing names, or are described the exact same thing as others effects. For example, the "weak" status preventing blocking, or the "Slow" and "Frozen" status effects both causing their respective victim to attack dead last ("Slow" reduces speed to 1, while "Frozen" reduces speed to 50). The type system also suffers even worse from the same fate. Each skin is given one of six elements, and those elements are Gorblegorble, Flubgub, Blobgob, Puffporble, Chonblonkle, or Monblonkin. Due to the names of each element being absolute gibberish, it can be hard to know what element is weak or strong to who. Games like Pokémon solve this issue by making the system somewhat simple to understand by giving each type distinct attacks and appearances. In Silly Linguine Cat Simulator Deluxe Online however, typing is seemingly randomized and nonsensical. What do you mean that Tomato Linguine (Monblonkin) is stronger against Burger Linguine (Gorblegorble)? Tomato's go together with burgers and both are food items!
Summary / Synopsis

I've only started playing this game within the past week, and it's fun. That's not to say I have some more negative opinions on the game, like the pay-to-win Supporter Bundle and simulated gambling (gambling with fake currency) but they're not dealbreakers for me. The story mode has a fun story, although the battle system could use some refining in my opinion. SIDE NOTE: The game also LOVES eating away at your ram. I have 16 GB of ram, and it still slows my computer down when it runs in the background.
lots of petting
