The third game of the series of finding cute cats hiding within the artwork. It is no different from the other games of the same style. You are going to have to zoom in and out to find those kitties blending in with the background. The theme of this one is traveling, so each stage shows you a different type of building. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3762929268 Some of the cats require an additional step to find them, such as opening a box or a door; each one will earn you an achievement. There are 21 in total. At each stage, you will have to spot 100 cats. There are two areas to visit: the main building area and a beautiful painting where those cats are hiding. If you use a hint, it will indicate which area you need to look into. There is also a cat on a motorcycle whom you must help reach the ending by removing obstacles; there are five in total, and each will earn you an achievement. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3762929101 The soundtracks are nice; each stage has its own track, and they are fun and cute, fitting the game's theme. Once you finish playing a stage, you'll get a score of paws, three paws is the max, and it indicates that you didn't use a hint. If you use a single hint, you'll get two paws, and of course, if you keep using the hint multiple times, you'll only get one paw, which means one star. You can always reset the stage by clicking the trash bin, then try again to get 3 paws in each of the 5 stages to earn an achievement. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3762928982 Pros: +Cute artwork. +Few puzzles. +Family friendly. +Addictive gameplay. +Hinting system. +Steam achievements. Cons: -Short game. Highly recommended for people who enjoy relaxing games and hidden objects. Note: A totally awesome friend gifted me a copy of this game although I was offered a review copy via curator connect. ^^
Finding the kitties is relaxing and then some. XD

Introduction
Find Cats 3 旅行猫咪 is a cozy, hidden object game developed and published by Happy Fish. It is the third game in the Find Cats series. Even though I have the first two games in the series as well as the fourth game, I'm playing this one first since I was offered a review copy, and with these HOGs, it doesn't really matter which one to start. You're given a total of 5 levels, with each level having a secret one in the form of a canvas with a question mark. The objective is to find all the cats in both the usual and secret levels, and a few of them may be hidden. In addition, each level has a special cat on a bicycle, and you have to figure out how to help the cat reach the finish flag. The usual gameplay functions are present, such as zooming in and out of a scene (either scrolling the mouse wheel or clicking on the magnifying glass in the lower left corner of the screen will fulfill that function). A hint feature is present, too, and after using it, you have to wait a bit of time for it to recharge. You click on the cats with the left mouse button, and they're colored in yellow to indicate that they're found. Plenty of Steam achievements are present, but they won't count towards a user's global total until the game is out of "profile features limited".
Review
I enjoy a fun, relaxing HOG, and the ones with cats are especially cute. However, I must admit that there are so many cat-themed HOGs out there that they all seem to blend together. Still, I feel like Find Cats 3 旅行猫咪 stands out from a lot of them, and I definitely should have gotten around to the series sooner, so I'd like to thank Happy Fish for encouraging me to do so. XD
Gameplay
The gameplay is pretty simple, but that's usually the case with these HOGs. The mechanics work, though, so if it isn't broken, there's no reason to fix it. I like how easy it is to find the cats, but there is a bit of challenge in regards to finding the hidden cats. They can be hiding in boxes or shelves. Also, I like the introduction of secret levels, so you're not just stuck in the main level. In addition, having the cat on the bicycle is a fun touch, and I enjoyed figuring out how to help the cat get to the finish line. Multiple levels are present, and I like how you're not simply finding all the cats in one area, so there's variety. It can be a bit challenging to find all the cats without a guide. Even though you can use the hint feature, if you do so, you won't be able to earn 3 paws (a.k.a. stars) for the level, and there's an achievement for earning 3 paws for all the levels. As for achievements, they're all obtainable, but depending on your play style, you'll either get them in one playthrough or replay some levels. I should note that the only complaint I have is that windowed mode is the only option. Now, I prefer to play in windowed mode although I understand if some want full screen mode. Also, windowed mode takes up the entire screen, so it would be nice if there were a few screen resolutions available.
Art and Music
The art style is cute and sweet. It has a lovely hand-drawn style, which I totally adore. This indicates that love was poured into it. The backgrounds are black and white, with the cats in yellow being the exception. I like that the cats are the stars (which they should be ^^) in these levels, and they're drawn in a very cutesy style. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3756004838 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3756005117 With the music, there's a unique track for each level, and they have this upbeat mood. Although I enjoyed listening to the instrumentals, it would have been nice for one or two tracks to have more of an East Asian theme, only because some of the backgrounds depict it. Still, it's a very minor nitpick.
Conclusion
Would I recommend Find Cats 3 旅行猫咪? If you like hidden object games, especially of the cat finding variety, and/or you like obtaining all those Steam achievements, then this is worth a look. At the asking price, it's a good deal and even more so when it's on a sale. Also, it's in a few Steam bundles, so definitely worth checking out then. I'd like to give a major shoutout to my friend for gifting me this game. Also, in case Happy Fish reads this review, I'd be happy to review other games in the series (I should eventually review the ones I have). ^^
For more detailed, fully complete, high quality reviews like this, please follow The Introverted Gamer, prioritizing heart and soul always. ^^
Each level consists of 100 cats that are spread between two screens. Due to the number of cats, most of them are hidden in plain sight—you'll spend the first few minutes busy clicking on the cats since they appear faster than your hand can react. The challenge begins after you have found most of the cats. Some can be hidden in tricky places; others will require you to click on a certain object to make them appear. The thing is, it's unclear whether an object is clickable or not—you need to click on everything and pray that it is. Finding some cats can also be harder since some are located so close to each other. There is a saying that if you want to hide a leaf, hide it in a forest, and this phrase captures the feeling perfectly. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3756004838 There is always one cat that can be selected by guiding it to the goal. Selecting it will also count as one of the cats needed to be found, although doing it will require you to find ways to get rid of several obstacles in its way. It doesn't make sense most of the time as to which object you need to click, and sometimes the object that you need to click can be located far from where the object that blocks the cat is. The game grades your performance after completion. It's graded from 0 paws to 3 paws, which depends on how much you use the hint. There is an option to use the hint and remove the cat that you need to find. Every time you use a hint, your performance will be reduced by one, while using the removal option will automatically grant you 0 paws. I didn't get the chance to use it since I didn't use the hint for an achievement, and the game doesn't seem to allow me to reset my level progress to test it out. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3454673184 The images in each level look out of place. It's as if the image was drawn and the cats were added right after. Sometimes, it can be hard to make out the cat since they blend with another object and/or background. They are drawn in different styles, too. While it can make them harder to find, they make the image look weird. This might be due to the AI usage that was mentioned in the store's disclaimer. Length and Difficulty I finished the game in 0.6h. It wasn't hard to find most cats, although the last few ones can be tricky to find. If you don't care about achievements, you can use hints to find them after you give up, and if you do care about them, there is already a guide you can consult for this.
Conclusion
Find Cats 3 旅行猫咪 can be finished quickly, although the game seems to be lacking in quality compared to other similar games at a similar price. I didn't like how it discourages you from using the hint. While it was alright, the price and the quality seem to make it challenging to recommend compared to other hidden cat games. I found this to be a relaxing hidden cat game with an easy difficulty level, perfect for taking a break. If you get stuck, the hint helps you continue. There is also one achievement where you must find all the cats without using any hints, so I tried a second playthrough to get it. Overall, it is a simple and enjoyable game.

If you enjoy looking for cats on a slow weekend day, you can’t go wrong with this series. The game includes searching the image for cats and clicking on them. The game is suitable for people of all ages and skill levels because that’s all you need to do. Especially when there is no time limit or penalty for clicking on the wrong area. The game features five images, each with one hundred hidden cats. Scenes can be played in any order, however the settings are a bit too similar and not very unique. They have some animated characters who bring the setting to life, but most of it is static. The challenge is that a scene only has about half of the cats. The remaining half is on a separate image, which you can find first by looking for a painting with a question mark. Unfortunately, these secondary images are not particularly impressive because they do not appear to be of high quality. Despite the large number of cats, the scenes are quite small. Cats exist in a variety of sizes, from large to very little. To assist you, you have a decent zoom to take a closer look, but I still wish you could zoom in closer to spot some of the smallest cats or cats that are really skilled at hiding. So much so that it can be difficult to tell if it is a cat at all. Another minor issue is that you have a cat counter for both images in the same stage, rather than a separate for both. This makes it difficult to find the remaining few cats because you are unsure which image to focus on. Fortunately, there is an a hint that draws a circle around a place with the cat. It needs to be recharged after each usage, but it can be used indefinitely. This will most likely be utilized to find a few tricky cats that are hidden until you click on the appropriate hotspots. These are frequently hidden in entrances. If you complete a stage without using any hints, you will receive all three stars. But since you may quickly restart a stage, this is not too difficult. Overall, a fun little game.
Find Cats 3 keeps the charm and cleverness going, but this trip’s a little bumpier than the last. The highlight? The paintings. Seriously—those cat-filled artworks are not only beautifully done but pack some of the smartest feline hiding spots in the game. I still love how the series plays with shadows (black cats in black gaps), but this time, it’s used more sparingly, which is a bit of a letdown when it’s one of the franchise’s best tricks. The hints recharge, which is nice, but you’ll have to choose between using them or getting all the achievements—yep, it’s one or the other. Zoom isn’t great either; the image looks nice as a whole, but good luck spotting those tinier cats without squinting like a detective who’s lost their magnifying glass. And when it comes to finding cats inside buildings or objects, it’s less “Aha!” and more “Click everywhere and pray.” It’s still worth a look for fans of the series, especially for the art and those clever canvas puzzles. Just don’t expect the same level of visual trickery or polish as previous entries. Bring your patience and maybe a guide if you're chasing that 100%. I thank the dev for giving me their game. Unlike Find Cats 2, this time you have to help Cool Cat, the protagonist, to ride his motorbike to the finish line by unblocking his road. There are two or more obstacles that you need to either click on them (i.e. the chicken bomber in level 1) or click on an animal or object (i.e. a dog hiding in the bushes to scare of Luffy in level 1). While doing so, we also have to find over 50 cats in the level and its sub-levels. The first stage has a painting with no artist nearby. Clicking on it, will get us to a maiden and her dragon. Find the cats hidden there too. Some are really well hidden. PROS: - Simple, fun and cartoony black and white worlds; - Hidden object (over 50 cats to find) with obstacles (free the biker's path); - Nice music; - Five levels with their own sub-levels; - The "?" button is the hint; - The "Magnifying glass" button is the zoom, but you can zoom in and out using mouse-wheel; - Easy to learn; - Easy to medium difficulty to obtain achievements. CONS: - Nothing. I recommend this game to anyone that loves cats, hidden objects and a bit of a challenge.
