This story is insane. I felt it deeply
I really think if you have never played silent hill this is a fantastic way to start the franchise, If you want a really gripping story with good shock factor this is the game. The overall environment of this game is so beautiful yet horrifying. Soundtrack is also fantastic. ran at a smooth 60 all the way through the game. No complaints. Will be picking this game up again for new game plus at some point!
güzel değer almaya
My favorite Silent Hill game of all time. The story is rich, complex, and beautiful in a way so distinctly Silent Hill flavored. I would wait decades in between releases if they were all as fleshed out as this world and it's characters. I can't recommend this game enough.
One of my favorite parts of psychological horror games are the slow descents into madness and despair. You start out in bright environments, normal and safe. But as the game progresses the walls get dirtier. Blood as a means of decor becomes more rampant. Tapestries of decaying flesh cover the ceilings. The sounds become more alien, strange and unsettling. The story and the environment slowly drags you down into Hell until you become one with it. This game executes that feeling and journey excellently and has become one of my favorite horror experiences of the past few years. Some truly horrific and heavy events occur yet I could never look away. The combat is visceral and full of threat. You will not feel comfortable while fighting. Play if you enjoy games with an overwhelming atmosphere of horror and cruelty.
this hill so silent..ffffff...
Had a blast
An incredible masterpiece of narrative horror
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thrilling, atmospheric, and brilliantly executed. I was only familiar with the original *Silent Hill* on the PlayStation 1; I have fond memories of its thick fog and the flashlight—elements that really sustained the game's tension. Plus, the story was absolutely crazy. In this title, the fog isn't as dense (or is missing entirely), and the flashlight is gone, yet the suspense remains. The graphics and sound are perfectly suited to the era, and the controls felt great to me (with fluid movement and combat). As the difficulty increases, so does the complexity of the puzzles. There are multiple endings, and with each playthrough, you learn more and delve deeper into the genuinely compelling story. I personally liked this concept: the run-through was similar, yet the narrative shifted. Those who don't just blindly rush through the game will find plenty of loot and additional pieces of the story and puzzle.
