If you like games such as League of Legends and DoTA and have an interest in games like Vampire Survivors, Halls of Torment, Risk of Rain, etc. Then Sidestep Legends is a fun experience that you may enjoy. There are a few different maps available and it's obvious a lot went into creating the project. The developer is very responsive to feedback and It's one of the only non-multiplayer games I've ever spent money on and I'm not disappointed. There are leaderboards that you can play around with as well, if you want to be competitive if a niche game, which is cool.
no fullscreen exclusive support just windowed which adds ♥♥♥♥ ton of latency, strange for a guy who makes 30min vids about ASM on his yt channel X D
I really feel that the game finally reached its true potentials! Controls are really great, the levels are challenging and the combos you can make in the game are very awesome to play. I really brings the moba-like movement/kiting mechanics we all loved while payed mobas back in the day. I am really grateful Lingon for reaching out to me a few months ago, because I was able to experience the evolution of the game! I wish you all the best and great job at 1.0! :) Best, Indie Games For Fun
Feels like a frustration simulator. Random attacks magically appear at increasing frequency through the waves, leading up to the final wave being an onslaught of BS moves that CC you, with the ability to default attack enemies or use the healing move being tied to standing still - which is impossible at this point. Even though the point is obviously to survive the 20 waves, it still feels more of a pointless endeavor than other games within this genre. It may be because the enemies are all autopathing looking like they are in a MOBA going to a tower, but they are just doing large loops around the map I think, with no destination. There are good bits that, if changed quite a bit, may be fun in the future. But I think the majority of positive reviews currently posted are probably less than genuine. I would have returned it even for the $3, but I took my dog out for a walk and didn't see I left it on for 2.5 hours.
Some of the projectiles are too transparent and they ignore terrain so you get stunned from nowhere without a counter beacuse they are practically invisible. ♥♥♥♥ accessibility? No thanks I prefer skill issue. Other than that the lack of settings is almost impressive. Are you colorblind? ♥♥♥♥ you.
Very Cool Game !
Really fun and addictive gameplay!
Muy buen juego, liviano e ideal para practicar mecánicas especificas de manera entretenida.
It should be in EA as version 0.4. I wanted to give proper feedback, but the game lacks polish in so many aspects... it would be a waste of time.
